The Falkland Islands already are.

If bolivia properly exploits its rare earth they might become like an indio versio of saudi arabia

Chile and Argentina maybe. Bolivia and Paraguay maybe. Brazil in the south easily but unlikely in the north. Rest of the north also unlikely.

ablogitory kek

Going by America I think 1st world will become them.

that already happened

...

where's this?

Curitiba

Looks comfy
What are the living standards there?
What happens there?

>What happens there?

pic related comes in to commit crime and is then executed by police if caught.

Judge Dredd tier.

Literally the best big city in the country.
Nothing happens other than big buses, capybaras and chilly weather, as it should be.

mecha-chavez will create an egalitarian boliverian sudaca superstate by 2025 at the latest, lad

>snow in brazil
What timeline am I in?

btw how come this city is algoods while places like Rio are shitholes?

The city is on a plateau high above sea level, it's in the bright green Cfb zone.
It snows here every 10 years or so, last time was in 2013 but it was pretty mild and will probably be the last time thanks to global warming.
It snows more often in the far south though.

Rio is pretty divided, if you are high class it's a top-tier place but below that it's shit, basically a mini South Africa during apartheid.

The state of São Paulo also has lots of nice smaller cities, it's the most developed state on average.

As for Curitiba it's unique mostly thanks to a chain of good mayors and planning.

Thanks for the info, It's great to know there are comfy cities for if I ever visit South America (if I get the money Kek)

Are predators are common in the Amazon jungles?

>Venezuela is in pure chaos
>it still does better than Brazil

>2011 data

...

Yes, but the same country also has this.

It's a big country.

You mean a big turd.

fox and grapes the post

>Brazilian education

:^)

Favelas are so aesthetic

my vote is on uruguay

Why is Brazil so shit at allocating funding and planning?

Seriously, the North with the Amazon river is begging to be industrialized.

Centralized government, "state runs it all" mentality and good old corruption, Brazil is actually in last place in taxes being translated into quality of life among countries with high tax rates.

We need a good slap of libertarianism tbqh.

Dude, it is among the 50most dangerous cities in the world

>chilly weather
Still warmer on average than the capital city of my country

It seems to me the only thing holding Brazil back is corruption and unnecessary bureaucracy.

Everything else is there in terms of becoming a developed country.

>Dude, it is among the 50most dangerous cities in the world
Not really, they also count the metro area and almost all homicides are directly related to drugs and it doesn't affect the life of the average citizen, murders during robberies for example made up less than 3% of the total murders in the latest survey.
Mostly it's drug traffickers killing addicts in debt and rivals in the outskirts of the city.

Sure it's still Brazil and the criminality needs to be fixed but I personally never got robbed or even heard a gunshot.

In a tropical country like brazil 15 degrees is considered siberia and a thin layer of frost is considered snow.

It's all about where you live, I'm sure that Siberians die of heat when it's more than 25 degrees outside.

Well, to be fair this is a tropical country as well. However, almost 70% of the people are mountain niggers who live up in the Andes, which is a subtropical part of the country. 0 degrees in the early morning is almost a daily occurrence throughout the year at least where I live as we don't have seasons up here, sadly

i hope not

Curitiba has frost every year but it has actual snow sometimes.

we will u fagot

If bolivia properly exploits its rare earth they might become like an indio versio of saudi arabia

Going by America I think 1st world will become them.

Or eventually a second Venezuela.

Problem of Latin America is its retarded corrupt ruling class that prefers to satisfy 1.own interests or 2. foreign interests (before the US, now sometimes China).

I doubt it will ever become 1st world. 60 years ago Latin America was by far more industrialized than Asia, now it's nothing more than Africa 2.0.

Nice. Panama really is our best department

>now it's nothing more than Africa 2.0.
no, thats france & co.

dont ask for asylum when your cunt is overcome by africans ;)

Latin Americans on/int/ are retarded.

Who cares if the country has slums, I live in a "first world area"

That is not part of the plan desu

>Bolivia and Paraguay
Those are the two least developed countries in the continent pham

Bolivia is literally the Rromania of South America

A shithole filled with shit ””””””””””people””””””””””

no country deserves to be compared to Romashitnia.

Curitiba has the second smallest slum population percentage among big cities just behind Brasília though so you're wrong.

1. Panama
2. Chile
3. It's a tie between Argentina, Uruguay and Costa Rica

Curitiba is not a country.

50% of every Brazilians I come across on Sup Forums seem obsessed with ditching 70% of their country if it means they claim to be first world, what the fuck

yes it is, its part of the kike plan ;)

Did you guys buy the modernist architecture meme too, or is there some comfy traditional architecture as well?

Perú will try their best and work very hard!

>implying

Also it's a stupid thing to say anyway since Brazil is a federative republic with fairly independent states, burgers even have a meme about Mississippi being a piece of shit for example.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thank_God_for_Mississippi

Sure it sucks that we have shitty regions but they should fix their own shit.

That same city built on every. place. on. earth.

Chile, Uruguay, and Buenos Aires are already first world.

Chile maybe?

DALE CHILE LA WEA FOME CULIAO YOU CAN DO IT.

All of these countries look worse than Ukraine on street view. Not even joking

Do Brazil and Paraguay not care about their nature? baka desu

...

I think it's because the unequality. This shit is not rampant in Eastern Europe.

>If bolivia properly exploits its rare earth
>Bolivia
>properly
I think I've found the problem.

Probably Costa Rica, Panama and Uruguay

>all first world countries ruin their nature to build shit while still having almost no renewable energy
>third world countries with greener energy try to do the same
>B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B--B-BUT MUUUH NATUREEEE
>YOU CAN'T

...

Do we have street view of Costa Rica?

Uruguay looks poor as fuck.

Uruguay really looks like some generic mid-tier Brazilian city #18374725, I can't understand how Montevideo is considered developed by SA standards.

braizl is a shithole

you find colonial skyscrapers here, ad theyre very ugly

Panama is also a shithole. Everybody knows your country is full of slums on street view.

This. We all know that Brazil has immense favelas. But when I was in Rio I found that living there as a middle-class would be kind of comfy.
youtube.com/watch?v=kzOkza_u3Z8

why the hell i am thinking its funny, i curse you Sup Forums!

I guess this is true. Though our poor areas aren't really the same as yours though.

Poor people here just live in dilapidated and neglected parts, but they're still "developed"

Where is in Brazil you'll find people who lack basic shit like sewage systems, electricity, and running water.

>But when I was in Rio I found that living there as a middle-class would be kind of comfy
You can say that about literally every large Latin American city.

>panama calling anything a shithole

Don't tell anybody but there is a socialist project to unify the continent and make it an isolationist soviet republic.

>Not really, they also count the metro area and almost all homicides are directly related to drugs and it doesn't affect the life of the average citizen,
Pretty sure Mexican cartel cities can use this excuse as well.

This is why you escape from your shithole and now lives in America, right?

Everyone has street view nowadays. We can see all of this shit in every latin american country

no.

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Except Mexican cartels actually terrorize citizens as part of their business plan.

Kind of, even if I didn't like Sao Paulo.
But Rio is very amazing.

Being middle-class is Ciudad del Este or La Paz doesn't sound that nice desu.

maybe, but its less shithole than favela cunt

here a slum is the size of a few blocks
favelas are the size of coutnries

very shit

what makesa city unique?

No I was born in the US, and my family has been here since the mid 19th century.

I know Brazilians are going to get triggered by this, but when forieners think of Brazil they always think of Rio culture.

And I have to say it's for good reason. Outside of Rio, Brazil sounds like kind of a boring and generic latin american country.

>Buenos Aires
It has areas that are literally giant poorly constructed shanty towns.

Not really what I mean by traditional architecture.

No black or indian cultured country will ever be first world.

In the greater metropolitan area yeah, but so does every latin american city.

In the core city itself it's pretty developed.

Maybe true.
Even if I would like to see Florianopolis. I know it's full of gays but still i'm curious.
And Recife. Is it really that dangerous ?

This. BA was first world but is now crumbling down.

Your country has a total population smaller than some of our cities and an area smaller than some of our smallest states and you still manage to have the same average GDP/capita and poverty.

You were probably encouraged by the self-hating monkeys here but your country would be considered a mid-tier state here at best.

what do you mean then? you dont make sens

There are other interesting places to visit even on the state desu (Angra, Búzios, Petrópolis if you're into historical stuff),the country is fairly diverse and saying that is equivalent of saying California is the only good place to visit in the US

This specifically is a Spanish style, but you get the idea.

I see what you mean. It might be because other parts don't really get advertised in media.

Something like this maybe?
