Why is the western world so dependent on the U.S for everything, culture, direction, heck even research

Why is the western world so dependent on the U.S for everything, culture, direction, heck even research.

Because YHWH is real and by giving ourselves over completely and totally to his worship, despite the derision of the godless european nations, we have gained his favor and he has smiled upon all of our endeavors. So much so that a shitty little backwater afterthought of a colony has become the de facto final boss of countries.

its only due to our turning away from God more and more in recent years that has led to our current domestic problems.

I think it's pretty amazing how far we've come, and how we protect europe with NATO. Say we're toxic and amerifats and shit, but we never forgot about our roots.

Americans work harder than any other western countries

>stab your allies in the back
>stab your enemies in the front
>be the only major power left

>be Brit
>be outrun by your ex-colony

>lose to an ex colony

Isn't that straight from the british playbook..?

>he walked right into it

Because the dominant geopolitical position of the United States after WWII, along with its then economically overwhelming productive base, allowed to rise to become the Western hegemon. Absent the counterbalance the Soviets provided during the cold war it peaked in said role during the 1990's.

Having said so, increasingly Europe and Asia have come to significantly participate in scientific research, all of the world's cultural regions have become more asertive regarding their own cultural identities despite the dominance of US media, finally with the election of Trump and given his hostile and isolationist stances the United States is no longer seen as a source of responsible leadership, meaning direction incresingly falls on other actors, as is the example of China in what would have been an American area of influence through TPP.

American dominance is now in decline and post election hype does not impact the reality no sane government in the world today trusts America.

They were the only big developed economy that wasn't in shambles after WW2. The Bretton-Woods system created by the post-WW2 players heavily favoured the American industry, since only the USA was in the position to provide consumer goods and technology in order to restart world economy.

This made the First World dependent on American economy, and also open to American cultural invasion
For example, musicals and jazz were only kind of exotic in 1930s Europe but every Western European from the 1950s on would watch every Hollywood blockbuster. The fact that the Eastern bloc collapsed only increased this tendency.

The 1973 embargo hurt many Western economies including the USA, which helped other countries develop their own economic independence (this was when the boom of Japanese car industry happened).

Since then, since the Bretton-Woods was forsaken, the USA has been more zealous about its dominance. I.e. more imperialistic. And American dominance is linked to the US dollar: as long as oil (which everyone wants) is traded in US dollars, the USA is safe since the dollar is strong. They don't joke about it - as long as someone like Gaddafi or Saddam suggests to cash in oil revenue in something else than US dollars, Americans enter the scene either with sanctions or with force. They are serious about the dollar.

tl;dr it's the Jews' fault

whatever.China will provide the dystopic cyber-punk fufutre we've all been waiting for .NOT THE US.

Because the US is the greatest country in world history. It would be much the same in any era.

>American dominance is now in decline and post election hype does not impact the reality no sane government in the world today trusts America.

You do realize that we export loads of food and raw resources that countries-especially European countries rely on. We also keep Russia "in check" by having intense economic sanctions and having a military base in basically every allied country. The US is a powerhouse in everything we do for and to the world. You'd have to be as stupid as the Philippine's Duterte to sever relations with the US over something as stupid as a president you don't agree with.

We are political vassal states.

...

the first reason is the language. most yuros can understand it, whereas anglos cant do any language other than their own and each yuro language isnt available among each yuro country and anglos.

but that doenst even matter anymore because trump will finally quit all of it. gotta thank him.

Not only did we learn it from you. We did it much less than you.
Our power came from profiting from Europe's wars, and our extremely high production power.

Why is america so nice to other cuntrees and productive

The US was the only major global economy at the end of WWII, it literally made up for 50% of the global GDP. This allowed it (with the help of the UK) to basically establish the liberal order (UN, IMF, World Bank), and then the neoliberal order (WTO). Ever notice how all these organizations are based in DC?

So naturally, the US took up a dominant position in the West and the world in general economically and academically. It's the largest western country by far in terms of population and land (inb4 Canada, I mean land that's not a frozen hell), so there's kind of an inertia effect. The top students from dirt-poor countries come to our prestigious universities, make discoveries, which raises the profile of those universities and brings in more smart people from dirt-poor countries. The Brits have been doing this with Oxford and Cambridge for centuries. So we've got the money, the cultural influence, and the military....of course we take a leading role in the West and the world.

But this will all work against us eventually. The very system that the US and UK set up is what has allowed China to become the second-richest country in the world and will let them overtake us as the dominant global force before the end of the century.

>give Britain a shitload of aid to keep it alive in WWII
>give it even more aid to keep it from collapsing after WWII

Yeah, we're a real bunch of backstabbers. Imagine where Britain would be without billions of American backstabs.

Don't forget how we had all of Europe's gold by the end of WWII, causing everyone to tie their currency to the dollar.

Don't forget how we lead the world by example of nice freedoms

Soon you will be able to do things the way they should be done, for yourselves.
Won't that be nice?

I think that had more to do with relative stability, but I'm no ecomonist.
