We certainly don't talk like that, even though there are some small towns were people do talk like that. The one from the OP is more common to the capital cities, while the countryside has dialects that can be unintelligible to Portuguese speakers, also having a bunch of borrowed words from German, Italian, Dutch, Spanish and Polish.
