average Main Square in my city
Somewhat ghetto-ish part of Toronto. Nowhere in Canada is truly third world or America-tier, but I still cant say that I would want to live in this part of the city.

restaurants don't have any signs or posters there?
I don't hate ushuaia, I hate you for living there
They do but they're required to be small not to pollute public space

How it is to live in city centre of Madrid?
It's nice. I can't compare to anywhere else since ive only lived here, but it's very convenient and I'm just far enough from all the tourist shit that's it's not annoying.
I have lived in Madrid for many years but in Chamartin. The city centre seems very loud and crowded for me.

Here's the main road, next to my village
Here's my village from above
And the inner village
Kinda like this.
It has that 2nd world vibe about it
Here's another one
My parents bought the house in the 80s. At the time it was around $30k, now it's worth almost 10 times more. Back then it was just another middle class neighbourhood, it still looks like one, but there's a lot of wealthy people who moved here in the last 15 years because of the development of the financial district nearby. My neighbourhood has this weird duality, there's still lots of 'traditional' middle class people, mixed in with nouveaux riches.
It frustrates me that I'll never be able to afford a house in the same neighbourhood I grew up.
los condes is like the most wealthy area of chile
