Why do some people put butter in their coffee ?

Why do some people put butter in their coffee ?

I heard that Poles and Germans do this.

Well, do you put cream in your coffee?

That's disgusting
Sounds like a french thing desu

>N*rdics

Extra calories, fat digests slowly. The tibetans also put butter in their tea.

I'm not quite sure where it originates, but butter had ritual significance in certain cultures, and so does coffee and tea.

Isn't that bulletproof coffee, the coffee that's supposedly really good for you?

dafuk are you talking about yes we love butter but butter is for pastries or cooking not to murder an innocent coffee

Never saw anyone do this.
Bulletproof coffee is supposed to be a good preworkout-drink though, never tried it.

this isnt a cultural thing you retard, its a meme some people do.
The gist of it is that the fat helps release the energy from the coffee over a longer period so you get more energy. Apparently it works but i havent tried it.

idk, my uncle said that he used to do that when he was a kid

bulletproof coffee is a bullshit meme

I used to put coconut oil in my tea. It sort of like softens the taste.

only y*nks and fr*gs do it

Never saw that before

>
It's all the rage in Shoreditch

>That's disgusting

never heard of this

no german i've ever heard of does that...

I do it sometimes, my uncle drinks tea with milk

What the fuck?

I have literally never heard of butter in coffee

full-cream butter?

trying this out tomorrow desu

It's pretty good. I drank it like that a few times when I was dieting and didn't get enough fat from my food. It's thick and slightly salty.

I tried this out of curiosity and it gave me heartburn. Didn't taste good either.

To bulk up.
