I wish there were a more natural way for me to learn Japanese. Grinding anki and grammar books totally kills my interest after a few weeks. I wish I had a cool Japanese friend to talk to daily to pick up on the language over time. It wouldn't be as stressful.

How useful is a computer science bachelor's in japan?
I had to choose between IT and computer science. Opted for computer science.
It's no STEM degree, but i'm hoping I can make it work.

i'm sure that largely depends on what company you're working for.
Computers are very popular in japan, especially in the mobile scene. There will be good paying jobs in that field somewhere.
The trick is going to be finding a job that will sponsor me while giving decent pay. But i'll worry about that after I at least have my associate's.
But are you reccomending I switch to STEM?
