Have you ever attended a social movement or protest before?

Have you ever attended a social movement or protest before?
How does it feel like?
>no, too busy at school
>would try once eventually

Yes.

I went to a May Day rally in New York City.

It was terrible. I was looking for communists to make friends with, but it was almost all anarchists. Very rude people who were pretty much homeless: absolutely no understanding of theory.

Only people who go to those are useful idiots.

No
It's a waste of energy t bh.

No pretty much all protests ive seen in this country in my adult life have been cringe tier nonsense. wouldnt want to be publically associated with any of them from all sides.

in the 70s we had good stuff like 'stop de kindermoord'. now its just muh (anti)black pete and muh anti-ttip

no, because of your and his reason

You're not missing much. Maybe some socialising. Protests are pretty much useless nowadays.

>Anti-Pegida
been at the first one, but I don't really see how protesting against them would stop them from existing
>Anti-TTIP
I'm not against globalization, free trade and progress, so why should I participate in any of these

Generally I feel like most of these "protests" are fucking pointless, the demonstration against the SED-government in East Germany may have been good, but most of them are just pathetic

Nope. Only armed revolution and riots can make a change.

Yes, a communist "protest" was holding a chess tournament.
These commies were very good at chess.

I went to the 'cronulla riots' which were reported in the media as anti-muslim riots in 2005
It was fun, we chanted, didn't destroy property, hundreds of australian flags, people handing out free booze and sausage sizzles, basically just ended up walking in a giant crowd of 5-8 thousand people around the local area
A few bad eggs got in there and ended up in the news

Not really

The closest was a Sup Forums meetup. Was cool, it was at a bar.

This to be honest.

But I'm not sure there's enough nationalists in Canada willing to use violence.

>I'm not against globalization, free trade
KYS

Some comedians arranged a parody protest that I attended. They even arranged for an old car and asked the protestors to flip it over and vandalise it.
The movement was in support of "women who struggle with unwanted behavior by their own care", the name is confusing on purpose and making fun of some weird support groups out there.
It was filmed for their TV show.

Never have, don't really have any political reason to participate in one as I've become too cynical for that. Could take part if I got paid for it though.

Yea, I went to protests against the socialistkebab coalition when they wanteds to give an important position to an irl manpig with mafia connections.
The goverment fell after 6 months of protests or more.

well i will admit, i have always wanted to join the wehrmacht, alas, i was born too late for that

A lot back in the 00s. Changed absolutely nothing.

>cynical
funny way to spell lazy, fat and apathetic :^)

Some rightwing march against muzzies, while its fun to shout out in a hateful frenzy in a mob its not worth it in the end as its just institutionalised whining that ends in pointless brawls or you getting photographed.

Also anti-nuclear demos for the enviroment and because parents are greens. These actually did something because they dragged on for decades and the demands could be met wirhout having to harm people.

If you want a Russian to duck your wife that badly you could just ask.

Europe needs more nuclear power plants, not less.

If third worlders actually replace us one day, nobody will be there to maintain the things and Europe will turn into a nuclear wasteland over time.
