What does Sup Forums know about Taiwan?

It is the best country in Asia

>country

You mean Chinese Taipei?

They like their tofu extra stinky.

Soon.

>country
Yeah, about that...

Fried stinky tofu is goat.
Doesn't even smell that bad, shitty meme desu.
Cheeses smell worse.

De Jure Province of the Great Yuan Khanate.

Chinese good guys who love freedom

True China. Someday will retake the mainland from False China.

I'll be the first to give you a nonmeme answer.

They are one of the few first-world country in Asia. High standard of living thanks to its electronics sector. Very politically liberal and globalist. The only country in the east that actually cares about social justice.

Overall, Taiwan is great.

really made me think

>Very politically liberal and globalist. The only country in the east that actually cares about social justice.

They elected KMT twice in the last 8 years.

When exports account for 60% of your GDP, it's not hard to see that Taiwan benefits greatly from globalism.

And they are by far the most LGBT friendly asian country.

Fuck off you hack.
Go back ""teaching"" as an associate """""""""professor"""""""".

Taiwan isn't that liberal-minded, for example like South Korea, they still ban pornography.

>they still ban pornography
pornography is a form of societal degeneracy and is rightfully so banned

Where imperial Chinks went to live for not accepting victorious commies
Now a days they're just being stubborn desu

>What does Sup Forums know about Taiwan?

You mean the Republic of China?

What kind of nose bone structure is that I thought asians had more pointed noses?

Hi, Ahmed.

Stop posting Trudeau
Faggot

It is funny how left wing with PC in HK and Taiwan is pro-independence while right wing in both countries are pro-China. Looks like nationalism is more prevalent on left wing ppl in those countries

>inb4 HK
>country

It should have gotten its independence like as S Korea did for Japan anyway

Cutest girl I've ever met is from there.

we have pro-independence right wing too

you mean 熱普城?

China has over a billion people. The genetic pool is HUGE compared to, like, South Korea where everybody's hideously inbred.

Only civilised Chinese land. Is pretty based too.

Would live there.

war with the mainland when?

This is the most ignorant comment I've read in a long time. Koreans are some of the most unique looking humans.

...

Now try it pre-surgery.

Lol no. They are more central-right. There's no actual right wing here.

Well, I felt that left wings are more dominant in HK independence movement. Also, I don't feel like those pro-Chinese 'right wing' aren't even real right wing. They just look like pro-establishment

I would rate them right behind Korea and tied in second with Japan

Stayed there for 6 months, great place, lots of QTs. The best China obviously.
I'd say it's a mix of Japan (safe, clean, civilized) and China. Taipei is a great city, but people are really bad with english. Would go again though.

how about this guy?
>muh true heritage
>fuck PC and LGBT
>fuck the commie
>fuck liberal
>fuck USA too

based

Another incorrect generalization and application of the spectrum. There are pan-dem and CPC-establishment left and right. The pro-HK left is more pro-China (not pro-PRC/CPC) ala Greater China and Chinese nationalism from lefty civic nationalism, calling for mainly self-determination. Pan-dem right is pro-HK straightforward in going after outright independence or partial independent sovereignty (most prominently a city state) under the PRC. Both sides pursuit democracy under different premises and ideals, the pan-dem left of which is flawed.

Pan-dem right and CPC-esttablishment left can be claimed non-existant at large.

Admittedly I chose to dismiss them, at large as .
Central-right. Would not put him as right wing. Didn't say he doesn't lean right. Kinda respect him. Should he be classified as right? That's inconclusive, about the same as the local political spectrum. Local left-right is fuzzy and complex.

>*pan-dem left is more pro-China

It's just as well because the present-day PRC is closer to Chiang Kai-Shek's vision for the country (meaning a variant of Fascist Italy's corporate state) than Mao's revolutionary utopianism.

Illa Formosa (Beautiful island) It was a Portuguese colony, and also a Spanish colony (only the North), and most recently Japanese. They speak Mandarin, Taiwanese (Hokien) and use simplified characters. Losers of the Chinese war (KMT) moved there and made it independent, now they want to re-join with China (wtf?).
Taiwanese are very chill people, quite different to Chinese in terms of social interactions, I'd say somewhat like Mediterranean countries, and very westernized.
Lots of hardware companies (Asus, Acer, HTC...) and warm weather.
Lots of cute and dumb girls

I've only met students.

>cute and dumb

Explain

A Taiwanese friend mentioned that the cute Taiwanese girls are very dumb and you can't have meaningful conversations with them. He also mentioned that the smart ones are abroad.
That is a very biased opinion. But then again, cute girls are usually dumb everywhere.
The ones I know are studying at the technical university aand are very smart.

For some weird reason, all the Taiwanese that I know where the same kind of glasses.

The first country or rather (non-country) in the incoming list of Ronaldo Drumpf Greatest International Hits.

>use simplified characters
wrong
>now they want to re-join with China
WRONG

Raus.

>A Taiwanese friend mentioned that the cute Taiwanese girls are very dumb and you can't have meaningful conversations with them.
your virgin friend says that because they reject him

>He also mentioned that the smart ones are abroad.
that is because he is abroad. the ones abroad are the one's who failed to get into university in taiwan

I'm sorry I meant traditional. As far as I'm concerned, the KMT party had the intention of re-joining China.
>your virgin friend says that because they reject him
Probably yes
>that is because he is abroad. the ones abroad are the one's who failed to get into university in taiwan
He studyed in Taiwan, he is actually doing his masters degree here

What about the other things, do you agree?

the current president is independentist

The current president is not a member of KMT.
Princess Tsai Ing-wen is a member of DPP, the party in favour of independence.

Raus.

yes they are friendly and less autistic. also civilized.

in Seoul subway i can tell right away Taiwanese people, because their Chinese is quiet, and tones aren't exaggerated. it almost doesn't sound "Chinese"

actually they are dressed well. so you can tell even if they don't talk

you said "they want to", you should have "they wanted to"

Raus

Chink cuntries a shit

>Losers of the Chinese war (KMT) moved there and made it independent, now they want to re-join with China (wtf?)
KMT, KMT, KMT is the subject.

Get a little bit of surgery to open those tiny eyes of yours.

and RAUS.

KMT doesn't want to rejoin though

*Sup Forums

you said they want to join china. then they would have voted for KMP candidate this election. they didn't. so they don't want to anymore. Eat some more Jewish babies maybe their superior genes will help you grow some brain cells.

Raus.

I never mentioned KMP :P

It's like China, except without the Communism. It's also less crowded, lessy noisy, less chaotic. People know how to queue. They don't spit everywhere. They like hot springs, baseball, and animue. Customer service is very good.

Basically, they're mildly Japanified chinks.

t. just got back 2 weeks ago

bump

What did they want then? They couldn't possibly think they still have a chance of reclaiming China from the PRC.

There is one now
