Honestly it's not the best choice if you don't have good jobs. Housing in the city is really expensive, it's a lot cheaper to live on one of the towns around it. A lot of people speak spanish here, but not the majority like in some more southern towns. You'll have to learn to be ok with spoken English for everyday stuff, but if you work in manual labor or look hard enough you can probably find a job where they speak Spanish.
