I mean for the pronunciation for certain numbers. After reading the Tae Kim numbers & counting section I understand that there are a lot of irregularities with how certain numbers are pronounced to make pronunciation of numbers much easier. Would it not be a good idea to memorize these exceptions with Anki?

I doubt you'd ever need to say something like that, but I would probably say something like "I figure" or "I bet" or "I guess" (all not redneck, but these 3 preceding phrases do not necessarily have an identical meaning to "I reckon")
'reckon' is a very popular word in the South but I'm not sure about its use in the UK
