just a couple of cities are semi-habitable, also, I believe it's the coldest country of Africa?

Whities and getting murdered on the reg

Suprised they still live there

The present of America and the futrure of Western Europe

Whities are*

I left that shithole, ama if you want I'll be around a while

Do niggers nig there?

>The present of America

Or, would be if we didn't have term limits. Thankfully Obama power will soon fade.

Niggers gonna nig my white friend

what's South Africa like?
also what are the main differences between South Africa and the USA?

It has good and bad parts, I lived in the worst which is Johannesburg, it went from beautiful skyscrapers to sprawling slums, the money is inflated and everything good costs a fuckload, it's trending the way of Zimbabwe these days

Whites generally live in gated and guarded townships to keep niggers out, every white person has a gun and if they don't they're quite frankly a dumb cunt

Is Cape Town or Port Elizabeth good?

Western Cape, Northern Cape, and Free State are first world.

see this bru
the western half is pretty first world, east half is basically all 62 IQ plains niggers that will murder you for a bag of groceries in broad daylight

Port Elizabeth is okay too

I really wish Lesotho would come back and destroy the Canadian menace.

Do niggers do the same when they see a brown person?

Depends, if he looks rich or weak they might nig

I really don't know desu, never saw a Mexican in South Africa

2030: The last helicopter leaving Pretoria carrying the last white family as a horde of ravenous, AIDS-infected monkeys approaches

What exactly is Garden Route? Heard some rich people (outside SA) are buying houses there or something.

Also
>trending the way of Zimbabwe these days
I wonder if SA will have that crazy inflation as well

>allowing the local fauna to be elected to public office and even be your president

GR is the southwestern and western coast pretty much, it's fertile farmland

how long did you live in SA?

The poor bastards were at most 70 years from literal tribalism when Mandela became president. It was completely unreasonable to expect them to be able to govern themselves and we're now seeing the tragic consequences.

22 years, then 2 years in the Netherlands and 2 in the US so far

Proof that Sup Forums is always right.

Come home white man.
Or at least start another boeren war

That German girl back in the 90s who went to the townships on a do-gooder charity mission, was raped and murdered by the savages, but her insane liberal parents were all like "It's very sad what happened to our daughter, but we understand the rage they felt towards white people."

is was it hard to understand dutch? i take you speak afrikaans
and also how was the transition to the shitty state sa is in now? any idea what went wrong?

Pretty sure that was an american girl.
They ended up apologizing to the murderers for provoking them

Trust me, she wasn't murdered because she was white, she was murdered because she was a (likely) unescorted young female in a black township. They rape and murder their own women all day every day partially because they believe it cures HIV.

If she were black, the result likely would have been the same.

Well everyone there practically spoke English, I kinda ended up not even learning Dutch

I was born in 1990 so I don't know what it was like, growing up was pretty bad though but that's what happens when you give responsibility and power to mostly undeveloped plains people

It took 100 years from slavery to the Civil Rights Act of 1964. You can't take such undeveloped people and let them have the keys to the company store overnight.

Is there distrust between the Afrikaners and Anglos?

...

This girl. Yeah she was American, not German.

DOOKOOM is dank, Zulus were actually just another conquering empire along with the Brits and Dutchies so they don't really have any right to go all "evil whitey stole my clay!!!!!!", there's a serious higher education crisis going on, kaffir means nigger but is a lot more offensive, Xhosa is spoken there, there was a failed Soviet invasion utilizing the biggest motorized force to be used in a war since WWII, there's a district full of abandoned decaying skyscrapers in Johannesburg that's one of the most dangerous in the city and perhaps the world, they call traffic lights robots, Charlize Theron is from there.

That's about it apart from the stuff everyone else knows. How'd I do?

Pretty good bru, you can come over and fuck my sister

There are 5x as many blacks in SA now as there were in the 19th century when most of them lived on the east coast. The interior was almost uninhabited back then. It's just like the Israel-Palestine bullshit desu.

Topkek, I don't know how I never thought of using that line in such contexts.

Are you OP? If so, are you a South African expat?

Right, I've read the thread now and saw my stupid question answered already.

What are your settis on District 9 and Zulu? (The only two movies set in South Africa I've seen desu, if you have any more you could recommend I'm all ears.) What do you think of Die Antwoord and what's the general public opinion of them over there?

Lol, it's a joke, I am an expat

Die Antwoord is alright, D9 and Zulu were good movies, I liked Chappie and Elysium too, have you seen those?

shame the blacks aren't all still confined to the bantustans. why did you decide to come to america and not stay in the netherlands or go to perth or something?

Worse situation than the US because our blacks aren't the majority of the population, also they were Americanized over a couple hundred years. Here we're talking literal tribal savages who have a completely alien culture to whites. The racial gap in SA is _far_ bigger than we've experienced here.

I've seen Elysium but I was pretty unimpressed with it to be honest, very generic and had a ridiculously hamfisted political message (that was actually 100% fucking wrong too, let's start with the fact that rich people are usually the ones who ARE bringing in immigrants because they benefit the most, and plucky underdogs from the disenfranchised working class are usually those who try to keep them out and commit most of the violence against them). RLM said Chappie was laughably bad, but I've been meaning to watch it, I still have faith that that director guy isn't just another M Night Shyamalan and he's got another good movie in him.

You missed the hidden point of the movie

>Intelligent whites make an all white utopia in the sky away from the nigs so they can live without poverty stricken hordes raping and robbing them blind
>They hold their resources away from the hordes because lol fuck them they should learn to not be idiots and make some shit on their own
>Some dumb cuck SJW libtards on earth fuck it all up and hordes of rabid niggers steal all the shit at the end because you can't underestimate the resolve of liberal idiots in massive numbers

Blomkamp is a master of subtle messages, making them seem PC to the left while spiting them right under their nose

Niggers niggering, whitey crying, chinese making profits

Apparently it's gorgeous and there are some rich areas. It's also notoriously dangerous and filled with racial tensions. One of the most dangerous jobs there, interestingly, is commercial farming.

I loved Chappie and D9

I want to see more movies where I can hear SAs speaking

Is Afrikaans worth learning? I'm already a couple months in. Goal is to then move on to Dutch and French.

You lucky fuck.
I live in South Africa, and I can barely speak it. I can understand it when spoken, and can watch afrikaans tv, but I'm definitely not fluent.

If you want to go to western south Africa or namibia where it's spoken, then it's great. Unfortunately where I live in the shithole East it's not that common anymore.

That said, it's not a terrible language. It can help be a stepping stone for other Germanic languages after you learn it I guess.

I may be misguided, but if I was you, I would learn Afrikaans to fluency, considering it was a language of the country I'm born in, and the country of my people (assuming you are an Afrikaner).

That's the plan, I want to go to Cape Town, Pretoria, the whole 9 yards, I hope I get to speak it quite a bit while I'm there.

What you're saying makes perfect sense, however I'm not an ethnic afrikaner. Furthermore, if everything goes well, I might be leaving here pretty soon. Maybe if duolingo released an afrikaans course I would do it just to brush up on it, but right now it's not really worth it for me.

Anyway, what made you learn afrikaans? I take it you're either afrikaans diaspora or just interested in afrikaans culture/history?

Nah mate, ridgy-didge true blue Aussie. I am just interested in the culture and history, and i'ts on my bucket list to visit it. I just also like the way the language sounds, which may be a bit because my mother's family emigrated from Holland about 50 years ago.

Not an ethnic Afrikaner? Are you zulu or xhosa or something?

It's funny, i was born in Durban in 1990 from a boer mother (father as my flag) then they moved here and they never teached me the language. I hope to learn it one day but it's too different from latin languages like italian.

he's probably one of the english ones, i doubt the blacks have much internet tbqh senpai

>be the springboks
>lose

Ah I see. Well it's noble that you want to learn the language, especially if you're interested in it, and are coming here.

As for me, I'm anglo I guess. Although I do have ancestors that fought on the side of the boers during the boer war.
The language is actually pretty easy. I would imagine that the problem isn't difficulty, it's getting the resources. If you have parents that speak it, as well as the right resources, then I'm sure you could learn it pretty easily by pestering them with it.
>caring about rugby
>thinking sports are at all relevant

I pity you
