>Be me in DS 2, first time with Dark Souls
>Somehow made it to the bonfire just before you fight the last giant
>Walk out to the area with giant tree leading up to the ramparts
>SURPRISE MOTHERFUCKER surprise bossfight with the pursuer
>Well I ain't no bitch I say and try and fight him
>Almost have him beat somehow but I'm out of estus
>Does the Stab attack that I had no clue was unblockable
>Stabs me
>Watch slowly as my half health drains to zero
>Didn't actually light the bonfire

funny fact: Rapier pretty op in ds3

Another funny fact, poise is disabled in ds 3

Another funny fact, it's not, just the natural bonus from armor is.
You can still use moves to increase Poise. Go be stupid somewhere else.

That's what I meant by poise was disabled, fucktard

this is what disabled means

dis·a·ble
ˌdisˈāb(ə)l/
verb
past tense: disabled; past participle: disabled
(of a disease, injury, or accident) limit (someone) in their movements, senses, or activities.
"it's an injury that could disable somebody for life"
synonyms: incapacitate, put out of action, debilitate; More
put out of action.

Your brain is fucking disabled. The poise stat is fucking disabled. Happy?

That guy has a terrible stance.

>inb4 fencerfag here

Dark Souls 3
>pic related

Not really, It's not disabled if it works as intended by the programmers upon release. Considering the notion that there wasn't an emergency patch two days after release 'fixing' poise, and considering the fact that you CAN increase your poise, you're wrong. It's not disabled; the ability to increase your virtual poise is proof of this.
Go
Be
Stupid
Somewhere
Else

Quality bleed build is fucking all kinds of op.

...

Darkmoon blade or whatever it's called is straight bullshit in pvp. Everyone just spams r1. Each hit is like half your health and the shit staggers you with every hit.

Is dex and faith viable in ds3?

Dex is idk about Faith

>it's intended to be concealed from public view but purposefully isn't
You lost me user.

IKR. It's obviously not supposed to be that way if its a stat I can fucking increase

Max Luck Max Dex Max End
two slices and it kills me online at 220+ (tfw glass cannon)

...

user is clearly on drugs and forgot a line or two.

>it's ok bud

>pic says gameplay
>you're still rambling about poise
>it has already been explained at the barney level how poise works
Grab a juice box and go lay down, you're getting cranky and incoherent.

Not a boss fight story but I always feel like sharing this story
>DaS1
>in oolacile township
>full solaire for giggles
>summon som fag who's also solaire
>another fag invades, is also full solaire
>no fighting, just nigging
>i get onto that glitch above the railing, floating and praising
>summoned guy lunging and punching
>invader running and jumping
>glass cannon build with moonlight great sword invades
>we all stop for a moment
>glass cannon tries to knock me off the ledge
>all solaires are unarmed
>rush the fag, kick him into a corner
>all punching and kicking, the three of us doing 3-7 damage with each punch
>literally stomp the nigga out

...

Im about to buy Bloodborne. I know its not as hard as dark souls... Thats kinda why im getting it...
Do you guys have any warnings or things i should know before getting it?

kek, did that really happen?

I ran the game wit just a heavy +10 long sword and full ninja gear. My toughest was prolly Nameless King and then the last boss. Never used a shield, but I used the roll invincibility ring which I'm now trying to run it without it. That ring is OP.

no pc version so far

>Installing DS2
>Blue dead

Gargoyles in Dark Souls 1 have consistently given me the most trouble.

I can do the rest of the game no problem, but those fucking early game gargoyles are shit.

No other Dark Souls 1, Dark Souls 3 or bloodborne boss even came close to the time I spent on the fucking gargoyles.

It's all about beasting that first one down asap.

After my first ever run through i never had trouble with them.

Yeah. I wish I had recorded it but since it was spur of the moment we couldn't. If I remember correctly he disconnected before we could kill him, but he had no poise so he just was constantly staggered. Good times.

I know, i have a ps4... I dont have the money to invest in a PC, nor do i see myself getting that kind of money any time soon. I just want something new, something that is not cs, skyrim or indie-games off of steam...
