Not really.
They voted for it in 2014 but haven't passed any laws yet, because they have to renegotiate their deal with the EU first.
In theory their laws aren't really that much stricter, they just were able to handle the refugee crisis better, because their borders are still up and their neighboring countries actuelly du take the refugees back.
And they still took about 100.000 refugees from 2014-16.
Don't get me wrong, Switzerland is awesome, it just just isn't pol-meme-tier awesome.
