Just tried to launch doom multiplayer and my computer shut off. Now it won't urn back on at all. Don't know what to do :(

Because you're a fag

>dual channel ram not in dual channel slots

just throw everything in the trash

I can't be assed to find one, but Sup Forums should have some troubleshooting guides.

The new Doom is pretty dank. Godspeed, user.

If I stoput being a fag will my pc turn back on?

Just poor some water on it. It needs to cool down..

unplug your computer. Fill your bath tub with hot water. Throw Computer in the bath tub. Try loading the game.

Stop using HyperX RAM
Fans positioned weirdly
Cords aren't hidden
What the fuck graphics card
AMD CPU

That's a good start, but there are a lot of things wrong with this picture.

Clear cmos

Learn to fucking cable manage

This

Just fucking burn it, then jump in the fire.

I guess you could say your computer is.... doomed

That fucking cable management kek, see if the psu cables are connected and try to fix those cables

Maybe . U have to become an hero first

I have a shitty corsair case too small to fit the cords.

KEK

kek

This pc is disgusting. You don't deserve to play doom

Fuck m8 your fan is fucking filthy

Bullshit, if it's a Corsair and not some shitty brand it should have some cable management behind the other side panel.

considering how dusty it is, I wouldn't be surprised if the heat warped that XFX.

where do you live? does the computer turn on at all (fans spinning, leds lit up)?

>AMD CPU
shit-tier intel fanboy reads 2 articles on reddit and believes he knows how processors work.
>Huurrr durr intel inside

It's the 60 dollar one. Real small.

Unplug power supply and pull the ram out. If the computer beeps back at you after you plug it in and turn it on the board is fine. If you get NO response then either the board is fried or the power supply and or surge protector is bad possibly. Plug tower directly into the wall to verify.

Do this and ignore everyone else trying to be cucks and edgelords by telling you the wrong thing.

kill yourself

No start up at all. Green light is on the mobo tho.

graphics cards are usually rated up to like 160-190 celsius and there's no way you're hitting that point unless you're overclocking and something goes horribly wrong with your bios and the graphics cards firmware or something.

First, you need to clean your computer. Since I'm not in troll mode, I'm not going to recommend scrubbing with soap and water.

Instead, unplug your graphics card and see if it starts. If it does, either your graphics card is dead, or your power supply is dead/dying.

Nice Ritsuko, I'll trade you.

In Doom Multiplayer, the more players there are, the more amps are drawn. It is possible that your PSU (power source unit) is not rated for that many players.

But before that, check to make sure that the outlet is still getting power. Check the outlet by plugging in something you know works, like a lamp.

Good luck.

Pull the ram and place the ram back into the:
>A1 and B1 Slots

This worked. Thanks

It's on now after I fixed the ram thing... was just too lazy to fix it when I got the pc initially. Not sure why that would crash it now I've been using this pc for a year now no issues.

To be sure it's getting enough amps lick the 3.3V plug going into your graphics card too. Get it real nice and slobbery. It'll just give a slight tingle, no big deal, that's how you know it's working.

Do I win anything?

My gratitude.

lead-free solder cracks if it cools too fast. you don't need to exceed the maximum rated temp, either.

>was just too lazy to fix it when I got the pc initially

sure user, whatever you say

...

Fuck you I need to deflect the blame because I'm a faggot and can't handle it

>implying amd is equal to Intel
What is this? Geeksquad?

I got amd cause I'm poor and like it when my shit runs hot

Graphics cards are supposed to be pretty damn tough. They have double the thermal rating of any other part in your computer at a minimum pretty much.
I remember people freaking out about the r9 290 series cards and how much heat they put out, but in testing those things were hitting over 200 celsius without any traces of damage.
Pretty sure they just epoxy the shit out of their circuit boards and that prevents any oxidation due to thermal stress and basically seals everything together.

A steam invite would of been nice, but alright.

Probably your power supply, i had this issue a while back..

It was the ram. Psu was working and mobo was receiving power. Didn't think the ram would cause a crash when I had it like that for a year

It's good to see everything work out.
It's Sup Forums to the rescue!

Wouldn't be surprised if one of your ram chips was shorted out and you didn't even notice until now after reseating it

Not using dual channel.
