Well done !

nth for Bottas will never win a race

I could do with those aeroscreens desu senpai. Just get rid of the nose and covered wheels

Absolutely humiliated myself in public today lads and now I can't sleep.

This "race" is going to suck ass.

What happened Nigel?

What did you do

did you whip out your dick?

what happened m8?

Haha

Never had enough change for the bus and started stuttering like crazy trying to explain myself. Driver got mad I was taking too long and when I tried to tell him I suffer from anxiety I started crying.

user I am so sorry, that sounds like a nightmare scenario for me, I'm sure it would happen if I ever left my house

M8 you must be going through some heavy depression or anxiety if that made you go through an episode.
I know because something similar happened to me.
I was just walking in a popular shopping area, and went inside a store, found a nice keyring and when I was gonna buy it literally like greentext spaghetti all my change spilled when I pulled my wallet, and I could hear the guy at the desk sighing and the people behind me laughing.
In retrospective I should have said something and/or laugh it too but damn I felt like shit.

Anyway, donmai user, relax and sleep tight.

Forget about it user, you're an irrelevant spec of flesh in the grand scale of the universe and none of this shit matters, just do better next time.

Have you tried purging heretics? I hear it helps release anxiety and stress.

At least you're not Nico Rosberg. He choked away a 43 point lead and gave away the WDC this year.

>in front of millions as well

how does he deal with it?

SHITTERS CLOGGED

he's just grateful that his wife's son isn't old enough to understand how much of a choke artist he is

It's okay man, I've had similar happen to me.
Since I've been getting out more it's gotten better, hope you can get on top of your anxiety.

didn't vettel have a kid recently? i thought he did. he keeps his private life very private.

i had a theory that drivers lose their edge once they have a family but it's probably not true

>Never had enough change for the bus and started stuttering like crazy trying to explain myself

Why didn't you just go "oops, insufficient change" then turn 360 degrees and walk away to find some change?

when you have a panic attack you don't think logically, just being able to think of the right thing to say and walking away doesn't happen, you shut down, start not making sense and eventually if you don't have someone with you to remove you or save you from the situation, you break down

>Even Mercedes guys are Ferrari fans

shit mang, sorry to hear that
I know it might be hard, but try to get some nice sleep. My mind tries to pull the same shit on me regularly when I want to sleep, thinking about recent fuckups.

hello fellow sleep deprived dorftrottelautist

>i had a theory that drivers lose their edge once they have a family
that isn't your theory m80

If he turned 360 degrees then he would be on fire.

>tfw you lay in bed and your mind is like "hey bro remember all the terrible, embarrassing cringe shit you've done in your life, well now is the time to remember all of it."

Vettel has 2 daughters now.

This just happens because you keep your mind busy all day on shitty games, anime and a message board for Peruvian goatmilking enthusiasts

Hello Bert, hopefully I can get the meds to kick in soon so that I don't sleep past 4 again.

This is why we need to introduce a country wide smart card. For people like us to minimise people interaction.
Just tap and sit down.

no I do nothing pretty much all the time, my mind has all day to fuck with me and make me feel shit, it doesn't need to use the time in bed to do it as well

>tfw I know none of them were embarrassing but my brain makes them somehow embarrassing

Like even nice things when they pop in to my head it makes them feel bad.
That was a happy memory for 4 years and now it's corrupted and you made me swear in public again.

Sorry to hear that, I used to play a lot of WoW and games like Civ5, shit that's meant to take a shitload of time and keep my mind off of things.
Then at night it would be the fucking worst, since I stopped playing those games it got a lot better actually.

Not really, it also happened when I was a normalfag.
You feel happy and enthusiastic during the day, have fun with friends, gf, and shit, and then you go to bed and start thinking about shit, everything being a lie, etc.
It's worse when some things do come true and then you just can't help but feel like shit.
Or simply years go by, and you come from work, eat, go to the gym, rest, eat, read or something and when you are in bed, you just feel weird... you try hobbies and you have fun, and for a while it seems ok and nice, but it always comes back, it'll always creep back into you, fucking depression.

I hate good memories. I just want to get to the next day without thinking about either my good past, or my bad past. Both suck.

I just laugh about it.

Do F1 drivers think like this?

>Hey remember that time you spun out?

maybe 10 minutes after the race but after that i bet they're all top normies

>tfw Jenson lies awake at night not because he is thinking about embarrassing shit but because he is having sex with a porn star

>implying he's not awake fapping to the sounds of her getting railed by another man

>implying he is allowed out of his cage

He is going to raise children that aren't his.
When they come out black they will release some terrible excuse that she has Jamaican heritage and it was a throwback.
When she gets bored of him she will divorce and he will be worse than Brendan Fraser.
He will appear on new top gear just to try and pay child support.

I don't check celebrities gossip but what's up with him and jessica breaking up?
It seems they were dating since forever and just as they get married they end up divorcing.

He cheated on her shortly after the marriage with a playboy star.

She posted about it on instagram a lot calling Jessica "that washed up J-pop girl". Of course nobody saw until one of her friends linked her and Jenson in a picture and the PR crews just deleted everything.
WAGs guy and a few others manged to get some stuff but a lot of the evidence (photos of trips Jenson took her and her friends on to Monaco and London while Jessica was working in Japan) were deleted.

He also cheated on her after the Japanese GP last year at a concert when she left and he started feeling up random girls.

What the fuck Jenson... well I guess he was like that at the start too, but damn, that's a bit too much, too open/careless.

Enjoy your 20c in welfare per day, Portugal

Nope - his wife does.

They have big toothy grins and thick curly black hair.

Why can't they just take old GOAT tracks and adjust the runoffs, gravel traps and barriers to modern safety standards while keeping fast + technical curves and straights, like they did with Le Mans?

Would love to see old Zandvoort or Hockenheim come back like this.

because they don't want to pay Bernie millions of dollars

This is now a gore thread.

...

>implying you aren't wagfag

Along those lines

DELET THIS

Adjusting the runoffs and gravel, for the most part, would take away some of the challenge (and thus some of the appeal) of having those old tracks back. Look how they've neutered Spa post-2005

Imagine old Hockenheim with 100 metre long paved asphalt runoffs at every braking zone, after which the grandstand is placed. A lot of the atmosphere of that track was built up by it being closely enclosed and surrounded by forest.

Even still, Spa is the best track on the calendar

Porn

>AESTHETIC

But seriously, Spa is one of a few circuits that, when viewed from above, look beautiful. Suzuka is another imo.

Old Monza

I liked Magny Cours

Montreal is cool looking though you can't really see the track much here

It's nice but it seems very sterilized and artificial, which to be fair it is, but it is a beautiful track layout. I like how older tracks tend to blend into the scenery.

I really like the setup, that it is on an island surrounded by the busiest inland seaway in the country.

So beautiful

Fuji has such a beautiful backdrop as well, it's such a shame that they no longer have the old high speed layout nor the insane downhill banked first corner, although that would never be approved for racing today in pretty much any class

Yes, but it has miles of runoff at Pouhon, Eau Rouge, Blanchimont, both Stavelots, Les Combes and Malmedy. Plus the Bus Stop was ruined.

All these changes (IMO) make it easier on the drivers, since if they mess up on the limit, they just run wide on the asphalt, get no damage, and continue racing. Whereas before, with the gravel, they'd get bogged down in it, or damage their front wing/floor and have their race compromised.

The threat of compromising your race, long-term, is more of a challenge for the drivers, since they have to be more careful about pushing limits.

Pre-2002 Spa>>>>Modern Spa

You're right, it does make it a bit easier, you don't have the threat of going out by running wide (especially at old Pouhon). I don't have a huge problem with this because it doesn't really affect my enjoyment of the race that much, and FIA seem seriously butthurt about the whole gravel-traps = rollovers thing, so I'll let them have that (slippery-slope and all, however true or not). But it doesn't take away from the character of the circuit so it's still my favorite.

Old bus-stop was much better though, even the one they had post-2002 before 2007? was alright, the new one is just shit. But muh overtaking-chances I guess.

No doubt, I don't think anyone will disagree with that.

My point was just that even after all of the neutering, it's still the best track they race on today. As user mentioned, If they did the same thing to other classic tracks I'd be in favor of that over racing in Azerbaijan or whatever country bribes Bernie next. But that's where the problem lies, they need the money to line The Bern's pockets as the other user said.

Although I hate to see old tracks ruined, it beats them being falling into obscurity IMO.

>it doesn't take away from the character of the circuit

I respect your opinion, but disagree with it.

You have a circuit reputed as being a 'driver circuit' and considered a challenging circuit where the driver can make more of a difference.

If you then go ahead and make changes to it that make it easier on the drivers, removing that differentiating factor, then in my eyes, it does affect the character of the circuit.

Make a change to make a circuit easier and you're losing some of its character, in my eyes.

I agree with you to a degree, but after a point, it just becomes equivalent to taking the track layout and placing it the middle of a parking lot with acres of runoff.

As much as I love Spa, I wouldn't like to see it with Abu Dhabi-tier runoffs, because it'd destroy the very thing that attracted me to it as a track - its ability to test and challenge drivers.

Well I was using Spa as the example of what to turn the circuits into. I guess you're right, the FIA would probably love to destroy it further.

This is what all circuits will eventually become. Search your feelings, you know this to be true.

why even get married?

I get what you're saying, but my point was to say that even going with Spa as a template, they've already made it a shadow of what it was compared to even 10-12 years ago.

I dunno, to me, Spa used to feel like something more than 'just a circuit' . It had this aura that transcended it being simply a racetrack, and in recent years, I feel like it's lost that a bit.

If they were to do something similar to restore other older circuits, who's to say that they won't suck the charm out of them too?

what track is this? china?

Watkins glen?

>australians in charge of guessing a track

It's Paul Ricard, m8s

At least they have found a decent tradeoff between safety and punishment.
Although I've heard no matter the layout it produces shit racing.

>not recognizing the meme sandpaper run off strips

approx. 87 different layouts and all of them incredibly dull

fuck me the future's a dark place

...Read the filename pham.

Paul Ricard is boring as dog shit.

This layout would probably make for some interesting laps.

Also I'd rather have a race than:

Car goes wide>Car stuck in gravel>Red flag to send out vehicle to recover Car
