Gracias for el video mi friend. Me liked very mucho. Tienes more?

Hello people how is it yendo? I am a little aburrido and tired ahora mismo.
Yo también me like-o drink una cerveza
Some of my favorite Spanglish words that I see in California:
"Parquear" for parking.
"troca" for truck.
"Voy a parquear mi troca"
"renta" for rent
"carpeta" for carpet
"marketa" for market
"pari" for party
Voy a parkear el truck wey
Spanish chicano dialect
We also use a bunch of these.
Hi lads I going to estudiar and chingar my gf
Jajajajajaja
do you think Spenglish might become the official language of the USA one day
Pues a huevo. Somos sus dueños.
But user, "renta" is a legitimate spanish word, synonym of "alquiler"
Do Chicanos actually speak like this?
Living in NYC, I've never heard the Latinos here (Puerto Ricans and Dominicans mainly) mix their languages.
Here we would say: ''Voy a parkear la pick-up brodel''
>el truck
No, it's el troc
All "uh" sounds in English are replaced with the "oh" sound.
So Donald Trump becomes "Donal Tromp"
They totally do amongst each other. More like ping-ponging between languages. But they will obviously stick to just English with others.
I would also add that by far the most common thing is seeing parents speak to their kids in Spanish and the kids reply in English. I've met so many families where the mom speaks very broken English and the kids speak very broken Spanish. They have enough listening comprehension in the language, the parents in English and the kids in Spanish, but not enough to speak it.
*hajahajahajaha
Puerto rican spanish already uses a bunch of anglicism
Sure but I've never heard anything like the OP video where half the sentence is in non-accented English.
I am going to start speaking and writing like this now.
El spanglish es simplemente la evolucion de un nuevo idioma. Igual como el Catalan algun die fue "Francellano".
I've met many Ricans who speak like that, and I've absolutely despised most of them
you usually see it in cases like
Mentioned.
t. raised in NYC.
Spanglish is disgusting tb.h
>and I've absolutely despised most of them
why?
Spanglish is literally the worst invention ever made
Really
CHICANO HIJO DE PUITAAAAA
Some where far, you can hear the sounds of suicde from la real academia española
Es normal que habrá una mezcla. Acabo el castellano no tiene influencias árabes?
>Parquear
>troca
>marketa
what wea is eso, fucking chicanos
>carpeta
This one is funny to me because my high school Spanish teachers always insisted to not make this mistake.
parquear & renta are legit.
dle.rae.es
My grandmother somewhat speaks like this but with french.
bomberos =>pomberos
quemado => cramado
manzana => poma
siéntate => asientate
basura => pubela
Sí, las tiene, pero en nuestro caso simplemente fue vocabulario y poco más.
Este "spanglish" mezcla al 50/50 inglés y español, creando una monstruosidad al español y el inglés.
>renta
>carpeta
>parquear
Those are real spanish words
No they're not. Maleducado!!!!!
There's carpeta (as in folder) and spanglish carpeta (as in carpet (alfombra))
Man I really don't like George Lopez ... I really don't like comedy based on race
I remember hearing the story of a man needing help with his computer because it had viruses. He looked on the newspaper if anyone was offering their computer expertise. He found an add saying "se vacunan carpetas" which would be translated to "folders are vaccinated"
Turns out to be he meant he vacuums carpets.....
>parquear
>real spanish words
>siéntate => asientate
aaaaahh pero que shit
igual nothing beat chilenglish chuchesumares
The funny thing is that there's actually Spanish loan words that are now widely used in American English, such as "ranch", which comes from "rancho", and "lasso" from "laso". Then there's words like "tomoto", "coyote", and "chocolate" which are also Spanish loan words which are in turn loan words from the Aztec language Nahuatl.
>mfw we (only in the north) say troca
dle.rae.es
Seems that is only used in here and Bolivia but it's a real word
Pinches pochos. La neta.
what is pocho?
>Mfw chicano but still visit my family in Mexico
You're not a true CHI if you don't spend a couple of weeks in Mexico, every now and then.
RAE will literally accept anything that becomes semi-popular despite latin-americans thinking its a hellish institution designated to attack free speech or some shit
>parquear
ajajajajja fucking chicanos que graciosos son
.ajajajajja fucking chicanos que graciosos son
Nuestra existencia es culpa de ustedes.
Hey parquear is legit. We use parcheggio
Rest is bad but don't think our future generations won't talk like that
>parcheggio
kek
still triggered of "cocretas" and "almondigas" ?
No maybe old people
Fail
This
in latin american countries its more because of american influence that anything else, or at least thats how it looks to me
like how argentinians call the fridge "Freezer" instead of "congelador" and "pickup" instead of "camioneta"
dyslexia and grammar shaming is a real thing in spain
thats why so many of us avoid latin american websites like the plague
do you learn spanish because your grandma was spanish? wtf.
I can't stand how stupid they sound, they're usually kinda smug for some reason, and many of them seem to feel superior just because they can speak two languages. Sometimes they're humble and good people and it's just me though, I cringe when I hear people talk like that, I can't help it. Just to be clear, I'm not talking about people who use pari or parking, I mean the ones like in OP's video.
How mexicans speak english is cringy as hell
t.grandson of commies
Listening to you speaking Spanish is cringy af. I doubt you're on a position to complain much.
"you talkin to me amigo?"
i wonder if they actually spek like in San Andreas? jaja that would be cool ?
In France too. If you don't know how to express/write correctly people will consider you as stupid, even if you master other doctrines.
We are raised with the impression that our French is the only right one, and that all other accents are just ridiculous and incorrect mispronunciations.
Kind of. I had to learn a second foreign language in secondary so I picked Spanish.
Grand-grandson, please. Btw they died and my family is not commie anymore.
spanglish:
Have you listened to the way I speak Spanish? I'm pretty sure you haven't.
CHICANO PUTO
*tips sunglasses*
Hola, mi fellow white amigo.
...
if you're not cheating, you're not trying
this applies to spanish, french, and almost every other widely spread language
youtube.com
>parquear
>renta
Those are real words in much of Latin America. "Estacionar" is just a less common synonym to me (but also used, especially in written language). "Alquiler" and "renta" are about the same.
Nah, plenty of Latin Americans worship the RAE in my experience.
For the most part. There's a few things that the RAE accepts that we don't accept, like saying "imprimido" as the participio of "imprimir" (we only say "impreso", as in "he impreso lo que pediste"), but otherwise their word is the word of God.
