Scorsese

I like your movies, Quentin.
But you've been banned for making threads about yourself twice before.

Pulp Fic

I love Tarantino, and loved kill bill.
But if you think it's original you're a fucking moron considering Tarantino outright said it's an homage to many movies he liked growing up. He admits none of it is original.

Dario Argento.

Literally a meme director. Hasn't made even a half decent film since Jackie Brown. Plus he looks like Beavis.

>Kill Bill
>Pulp Fiction
>Reservoir dogs
>Bait?

Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs were before Jackie Brown. Kill Bill was shit.

Kill Bill is his master piece, what your favorite tarantino movie?

James Gray is my fav.
Look at his movies to easily understand why, and check this pic I made about how he is inspired by the New Hollywood movies. That's the Godfather II on the left, and We own the night on the right.

His masterpiece is Inglorious Basterds you dumb fairy faggot fuck

fuck me It's the Godfather 1

Nah, i'm sure he just wanted to make something "edgy and awesome and bloody" and came up with the shitturd that's killbill, then he got called out on it and said it was an omage

Just look at the guy's face and oh boy watch him on a interview.

>Kill bill

Oh boy you can't be over 15.

I agree with this. Kill bill is rubbish he felt he needed to make as a tribute to hong kong movies, but they're dull. Reservoir Dogs is great, except for the usual faggotry, most notably that gay as fuck scene about 'tipping'.

Kill Bill is so much better then inglorious basters, He tells a much better story of revenge and hatred in that movie and the multiple art styles from the anime scenes to the 2d fighting scene make it such a better movie.

wrong i am, and give me a reason why it isnt good?

My only issue with the tipping scene is that he caves in and leaves a tip.

Listen double nigger. The revenge of one bitchy blonde does not equal the rage of a blonde and a horde of Jews

What the fuck is wrong with people that say shit like this? do you have no fucking taste at all, i really find it hard to understand how someone would find all of this shit you just listed on that movie it's so fucking cringe worthy and so is tarantino

My issue with it that every single movie of his has stupid dialogues like this where he wants to share some real life frustrations he has. It adds nothing to the story and he just puts that crap in to look 'original'.

He's pretty good if you can look past his love for feet

Youve said all these insults and not given a single reason why im wrong, who is the tasetless cunt now?

Django is my favorite movie from him. It encompasses every type of genre in one.

Debatable

She literally murders hundreds of people to get to bill
> Not Rage

This > any of his other movies

No joke you ever seen this guy in an interview? He's the epitome of sperglord.

>Kill Bill is so much better then inglorious basters
I love both, but c'mon user. Kill Bill is theatrics, a typical hong kong plot with some snarky dialogue and visual splendor.

Basterds is far classier, and the 'villain' Hans is one of the greatest in film.

Really? tell me what's good about that movie.

Literaly no artstyle exept for that dojo shit at the end of 2
Music just feels so fucking awkward and out of place
Acting is shit, even though if he bullshits saying it was supossed to be that way as an omage that's just taking a piss on old movies.

Plot, you just feel fucking lost and it makes the movie pointless then he comes with the bullshit again "oh it's so original and you gotta be smart to understand the movie"

Just look at the fucking guy holy shit, look at he interviews,

>Name a better and more original movie than Kill Bill

kill bill is not original at all. in fact, its probably the worlds first montage.
its literally stolen from so many places

wat?

>the epitome of sperglord.
He's a high school dropout who got both filthy rich and critically acclaimed for filming basically whatever the fuck he wanted. u mad?

No it doesn't.

>"Plot you fell fucking lost"
>Im dealing with a retard im not gonna argue with you

>a better and more original movie than Kill Bill
Pulp Fiction, and it's not even close.

Oh hi guys.

Name another movie with another similar plot line

Not really.
Not hating on him, in fact I love most of his work, he's just autistic as fuck in interviews and it's funny.

She literally murders about 90 people over the course of 2 films. The Basterds kill nearly a thousand collectively off screen, and on screen do plenty of murdering with a blowing up cinema scene and shooting the fuck out of hitter. If you think Kill Bill has hundreds of deaths, you're drinking the fucking cool aid faggot.

there's one in particular. you can look it up if you'd want but you seem like you lie to yourself a lot lol

Just name it you mong

Whats it called?

PTA

youtu.be/nJPERZDfyWc?t=12m33s

Not samefag But Lady Snowblood dude.

I'm not talking story related or what it was about
i mean character wise, timing is so shitty you couldn't just give a fuck about any character at all.

Thank you. I'm not the guy arguing it's completely original btw, just annoys me when people say shit like 'there is a film like it' but don't mention the film or whatever.

One of the influences for Kill Bill
imdb.com/title/tt0072285/

great screenwriter, relatively shit director

Now if you're gonna bitch about me not giving reasons and when i give you some you dissmiss them all because of 1?
No shit you like tarantino, go on a sperglord tauntrum now.

...

Yeah I get you, people don't understand they shouldn't argue if they don't understand what they're talking about

lol, plebs..

>tarkovsky, kurosawa, hitchcock, bergman

there are more directors, with each their own style of filming that is superior to le mementino

mementino still good tho

HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW THIS IS BAIT?

being this autistic

Don't care if it's bait, it's still a decent discussion about movies and directors

for all the fags saying kill bill is original watch this

start watching at 12:33

David Cronenberg

kill bill is almost considered a remake of lady snowblood. Some scene dont differ at all and the plot is pretty much the same. I think the complete ending is ripped off also. I like Tarantino movies and I think he found his own (non ripoff) style lately, but you clearly have no idea what you are talking about if you consider Kill Bill original

Maybe we were baiting you to come post your ebin b8 meme.

The only point you made was that it didnt have any art style and you didnt like the music, the you preceded to tell me you didnt understand the movie or the plot.

Tarantino is the epitome of smarmy hipster faggot but by fuck he's made some great movies

Its not bait, Kill Bill 1&2 is his best movie

Dumb ass nigga, i'm the OP of course it was bait to see why they liked his shitty movies, no wonder it's 12 year olds who can't even name a real reason to like his movies other than
>hurr so much blood
>so much swearing
>So much killing!

Top 3 worst tarantino feature films
>The hateful eight
>Inglorious bastards
>Django

whats wrong with being entertained with mindless violence?
thats literally why he makes his movies. he loves violence.

>The hateful eight
this was a good movie dude.
such long ass dialogue scenes
god tier writing
action at all the right moments
beautiful racism

Stupid opinion in a stupid thread

Stanley Kubrick and Quentin Tarantino are the most awesome directors out there. OP is not a fag today.

out of his 8 feature films The hateful eight was definitely top 3 worst

the wachowski brothers

eat shit redneck , all his movies are shit

Paul Thomas Anderson
>There Will Be Blood
>Inherent Vice
>Magnolia
> Many Fiona Apple MV's

I mean you just refuse to say anything good about the movie as well so fuck off.

Are they both trannies now?

That's just your opinion man.

Underrated post

trainspotting is way better

I'm an enormous Tarantino fan. Reservoir Dogs is one of my all-time favourites.

But sorry- I think he's easily matched in originality and creativity by Wes Anderson.

The Grand Budapest Hotel is my favourite film. Close behind are Reservoir Dogs, Goodfellas, Donnie Darko, Primer, and Kill Bill.

Oh, and Fargo. Forgot that one.

He's still a cuck.

nah man not underrated. He made some pretty bad ass movies (existenz is my fav scifi movie), but the last 5-10years of his career were awful unfortunately... Just like with George Romero or Dario Argento. He got old...

>The Grand Budapest Hotel, Reservoir Dogs, Donie Darko, Primer, Kill Bill
Finally someone with good taste

the only one that makes true art

I don't understand why faggots like the Basterds.
Well, actually i do.

Did anyone like this movie?

'Some wee lassy just got fooking glassed.! No cunt leaves until I find oot which one of you cunt dedit
!!

Just watching that fucking title
I literaly imagine him coming up with the script in 10 minutes.

Wes Anderson does not work for me.. and I don't even know why.. casting choices are great, it always looks great, but something is off for me.. I guess I get the impression his movies do not take themself seriously (if that makes any sense)

Fuck yes. I'm half hyped and half dreading the sequel.

John Ford.

This.

Shit. Shit. And shit.

He's met and embraced by a generation of sperglords.

thanks user.

For the record I think Clerks and Dogma are both pretty sweet too. Fargo, like I mentioned, and of course Holy Grail and Life of Brian. Airplane! is pretty good still. Pulp Fiction I do really love, but I don't think it's as good as Bill or Dogs because it's too long and has too many long boring parts.

>inb4 who dat?

Fucking finally somebody.

I'm pretty sure you could name all directors you ever heard of in one post, OP. What makes you think you're qualified to judge?

Yes, both so stunning and brave!
