I dont know how the Meta is at the moment either. I use to play it competitively I won a few locals but then they made pendulum summoning a thing and just made cards super OP and expensive as well. I played mostly a plants deck with Queen of Thorns, splendid rose, BRD and stardust.
Ragequit when they limited lonefire blossom into 1 per deck, that really pissed me off because a friend of mine played a deck with Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon that is better in almost every single way and you could have 3 of those...
Apparently you can have 3 lonefire blossoms at the moment, I guess that means plants are weak anyway.

The concept of the card seems awesome, im sad it was never a thing while I played. Plant decks always had interesting summoning mechanics with stuff like Lord Poison and Bird of Roses. I guess I need to check about Pendulum to understand it but it seems like they keep releasing mechanics that need 10000 characters to be explained.

I played during the time when glowup bulb was a thing and it was pretty damn good, needed the ban it got actually but as they keep making cards that just get more and more broken they are just going to unban everything to counter it, like DMOC is back! Eventually Envoy of The End with come back. I love them I played them for 5 years straight, the meta just got too fast for them, and they were too slow and needed setup so I moved to madolche

Thats a problem with ygo, a lot of archetypes failed just because they aren't as fast or mean as everything else, which is sad. I loved to play GIshki ritual decks casually. Gishki Emilia was such an interesting card.
