How do you spy on someone's computer remotely without controlling it?
I just want to watch what my sister does on her computer.
I suspect she is looking at porn and want to see what kind for...reasons.
I made this thread before and got some good responses.
I'm still figuring all this out because I'm a filthy casual that doesn't know a whole lot about the sketchy side of computer stuff.

Well you could just install a rat virus on her computer without her knowing of it. Common one is darkcomet. Just install it and run it on her computer and you can see what she is doing without her knowing you can

Just boot Linux from a USB drive and then look through her files and insrall whatever you want. You don't need her computer password.

What you want is called liberty it's a linix distribution. Light but will still get you in to look at the files at least. Would love to see what you get if you are willing to share

She is protective of her laptop and phone (a sure sign she has naughty pics on there) and she would watch me do whatever I needed to do on her laptop
You have a few options. you can try the social engineering and installing a rat but that won't work 100% unless you can get them to install it. the best way would be to install Deft linux on a usb drive. deft linux is a linux forensics distro so it won't leave a trace on the pc as long as you don't install the os to her hard drive. once you are in deft linux you can mount her hard drive and that will let you browse through the files. make a new file in the "C://programs" path or whatever it is for windows 10. next thing you need is to move the rat over to that file you made and run it, this will install it on her hard drive now just power off the pc and unplug the usb stick. next time she boots up her pc you will have full access.
or if you just want to see her files you can use deft linux and use a tool called "testdisk" or "photorec" and that will find all the files even if they are deleted.

well deft linux is designed to be used for profesional forensics so it doesn't write to the hard drive unless you give it specific permission. also deft linux has a multitude of forensics tools that you can use to backup/read hard drives. any other linux distro will probably work but i prefer deft linux. as long as you don't install the operating system to her hard drive any of them should be fine
How would one go about sending a rat in an email?
send email saying "hey check out this pic i found of you last summer" then attach a .jpg file that is infected with a rat.

most people don't read what it says. they usually instantly click "ok". and depending on their settings it might not ask to install.

How do you know that? What's your source? Aside from obviously poor types of content and material (like 'cheese pizza'), people have posted that they rarely if not ever download any pics.
i have tried it myself. it also scrubs exif data. i used the "exiftool" command in linux on a picture and edited the exif data then uploaded and then downloaded and all of the things i changed went to default.
Let's start from scratch because many of these anons are over complicating things. We need to know how smart she is, is she tech savvy? Will she know if any of her stuff has been touched or moved?
A simple solution is to get a key logger and attach it to her keyboard. Cheap and 100% effective, however if she's paranoid or its a laptop it won't work.

If your not familiar with unix distributions or the command line, just install lili usb or what das piece of software is called on your Windows, its a kind of automatic linux usb stick assistant. Then choose a normie unix with a graphical interface such aa kde or whatever, but if you already are experienced with unix get a bare, like debian or putty or whatever

deft is best for forensics since that is its sole purpose. kali is better for pentesting.
i don't know anything about konboot. but it looks like it is meant to bypass authentication or something. if you use a live linux distro like deft then you will definitely be able to read/write to the hard drive without trying to find a working torrent
