>1000W

RETARD! You flexed your GFX card to make it fit in there didnt you????

Hope that bitch catches fire and burns your house down!

>Same cooler as OP, except my fan is in pull instead of push
>My Raidmax Horus case is ENTIRELY similar except front
>Jealous of RAM+GFX

Why 1000W?

>huge case for little stuff
>meh gpu
>1000W for that, seriously?
>ridiculous amount of storage, why?
2/5

just posting porn

lol optical drives. nice email machine, grandpa

what's the other expansion card?

oh yeah, those cables really do it for me

the one I had just died and that was all I could get without waiting a few weeks

still runs everything I have
media library, video work, music library, games

I use those for ripping CDs and DVDs
and burning videos for family

SATA card

>ASUS
1/10

2016 HDD

because people are like "higher number! MOAR. MY EPENIS"

I have 2 Gigabyte motherboards with weird performance problems now
the only MSI motherboard I've ever bought died in less than 6 months and was replaced with a cheaper ASUS one that is now about 5 years old and still fine

>>huge case for little stuff
>not knowing the benefit of a large case

pleb.

this

mine

Nice cooler. I swapped out for watercooling recently because Georgia weather sucks ass.

1000w is a nice buffer for some builds, but his current build doesn't even use probably 2/3rds of it.

>hurr durr muh airflow etc
Nobody cares. Also, you can have an ATX case which is large enough but not too big.

youtube.com/watch?v=K38h0W2bZrQ

People living in warm countries care.

sorry, I still don't feel bad about my choice of case

see also when I bought it I had 7 hard drives and crossfire

1000W is still a bit much for all that. Now if you were using an SLI rig with full water cooling I could understand.

Water cooler is in a bad place. Blowing heat out of the bottoms isn't the best, as it's got terrible airflow.

Also if you're going to watercool anything then cool the GPU.

nah the airflow here is good
exhausts from the top.
not the best thing to put the 120mm on the top but it works and doesnt give me temps that high. gonna run external rad when i can afford
this case as mounting points for a tripple rad on the back

>1kW PSU
>CM 212+
>no SSD
>still using optical drives
shit/10

you can't see the SSD

also the cooler is cheap and pretty good performance, can't complain

you're still retarded for buying a fucking 212+ cooler with your budget.

Same mobo bro!
Any oc ?

Why?

They're quite effective at a rather low price.
A Noctua NH-D14/15 is much larger too and may require low-profile memory.

Unless he is going to OC a lot, in which case he should get water cooled anyway, a 212 is sufficient.

fuck off trap boy

wtf is in the bottom pci slot?

>Not Broadwell-E
Pleb

>inb4 GFX is in the x8 not x16 your build sucks

Just as much as your mom does.

no
get off my board normie

because if you spent $10 more you could have gotten a far better cooler that's both quieter and cooler.

and the fact you instantly compares it to a NH-D1x which is 3 times more expensive just proves how much of a fucking retard you are.

google a fucking cpu cooler comparison

Wi-fi card?

youtube.com/watch?v=QWaWsgBbFsA

1000W?............ why... lol

Problem is hot air rises, you have a desk under it, so it doesn't really leave. Airflow should go down (and side and front) to up and back.

I got my overall temp down quite a bit by switching the way the air flowed.

not even high-end cards can saturate x8 slots yet so anyone that tells you not to use that slot is retarded.

Yeah but that dude isn't a fag with a bunch of ricer lights.

so I should have spent twice as much on a cooler for about the same performance?

too poor

this is silent and a Noctua one would have cost double and been about the same performance unless I overclock it a lot

that doesn't look like a wifi card, why would it be plugging into pci and have a cable coming off inside

You do realize that a 1000w is only like $15 more than 750w right? Sure it's only used for 3-4x SLI. That wasn't my comp, but I also have 1000w, I bought with the idea that one day I'm gonna SLI. I probably won't though, but I'd like to if I ever get an excess bit of cash.

Shit brand overspecified PSU. As the system appears to need around 250-300W, the PSU never enters its most efficient region, and it's a shitty OCZ thing.

Other than the awful PSU choice (first time builder? Didn't take good advice?), looks okay.

Nice cable management, but hardware looks peasant-level at best.

Doing some maintenance.

>You're running the Pc without closing the loop, are you retarded? It will overheat and burn your house down you idiot.

As I said, doing maintenance, the pump was unplugged, no I am not posting from this PC, turned on for a brief second to make sure everything is fine, had a fan blowing into it the whole 3 seconds it was on.

Also, unlike OP I know I'm using my 1000W PSU the right way

jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=238

Love the Fractal case.

Inb4 cable management
I need to get a modular supply but I budget built it last year

fractal case? Got the Same...but the pcgh.de Edition!

r8

So bad regulation, bad efficiency, unreliable components - admitted so in the review - and it gets a 9.5.

There's a reason why we stopped paying attention to Jonnyguru about three or four years ago.

You can cable manage even without a modular psu you fucking retard

The Good:

Fully modular
Plenty of connectors
Very efficient
Very quiet (except for the high load whine)
Excellent ripple suppression
Compact size
Excellent price

The Bad:

Whining noise at higher loads definitely not cool

The Mediocre:

Teapo caps are ok, but Japanese caps are better
Voltage regulation is pretty good, but by today's standards we know that it can be better

where does it say bad efficiency or regulation or unreliable components?

Rate specs. Bought a bunch of parts second hand from a friend's little bro but in pretty solid condition all for 650 pounds.
>GTX 960 4GB
>8GB RAM
>1TB HDD
>MSI gaming 6 mobo
>corsair h110
>nzxt h440 case
>i5 4690k
>corsair k70
>steelseries rival 100

Seeing as some user's in here seem to know what they are talking about. What's the general opinion on the gtx 1080? Wait a bit or get it immediately

Needs more RAM/10

650 quid?!

You got ripped off.

Forgot, 750w psu 80+ gold

There's no cable routes on the other side of the case dick arms.

Fuck I meant 550. I can't type for shit on my phone.

Still a rip off imo

Corsair Air 540
Corsair H80
Two 290X's
2600k @ 4.4Ghz
16GB's 2133Mhz DDR3
6 terabytes of SSHD storage + 512Gb's SSD
Benq XL2730Z 144hz 1440p monitor
Razer DeathAdder 2013
Razer Black Widow TE

that isnt a ripoff at all. thats quite a steal actually for what he got

Second hand? No.

400 quid maybe, not 550.

R8

...

They come with mobo pleb, combo wifi and Bluetooth card, cable plugged into the mobo to make it faster.

He's only had them for 2 months.
>processor £180
>gpu £150
>psu £70
>RAM £30
>keyboard £100
>mouse £30
>case £100
>HDD £40
>mobo £130
Ballpark prices obviously.
I'd rather that than buy them all from retailers tbh.

>still thinks noctua is the only alternative
confirmed retard

google
a
fucking
comparison

Over kill psu
Using HDD instead of SSD

Doesnt look like a well thought out build however the work does look clean and not of cheap quality.

Also forgot to include the cooler which is around 100

I did
I chose this because it's very close to much more expensive coolers

are you fucking retarded or something?
where would it plug into the motherboard?
USB, faster than PCI?

nice try faggot
0/10

why is cable management so important?

what can i improve?

Looks good, easier to know what cable is going where and managed cables won't heat up like spaghetti cables

you forgot airflow

Also look in to buying twist totes or cable ties along with label tags

You mean besides cleaning it?

Twist ties*

...

Cheap PSU.
Pls die from the HDDs noise. Why do you even buy HDDs this days?

Cheap.

I give it away?

there's 2.5" trays behind the motherboard

because I can't afford to have 9TB of SSDs?

Because if the fbi break in they'll copy my cp quicker

Why so many HDs?
Amazon prime is 60$ a year for unlimited cloud storage...
Get 2x 500GB SSDs in raid 0 and rar everything else encrypted with a password for prime...

why did you put gpu on its side ?

I can't store all my games on prime.
1tb is not enough fam.
Also cp

Why would you even bother to SLI?
Single cards are powerful enough these days...
Unless you render video using the GPU you're wasting money

All you're games... you don't play 1TB worth of games... uninstall that shit and install the ones you play and cycle through...

i need to take a better picture but...

Also HDDs are just cheaper.

On a side note... the new directX can use up to 6 cores... so get a 5820.. overclock to 4.5 and you're golden.

What is this the 90s? That case is huge!!
corsair.com/en-us/graphite-series-380t-yellow-portable-mini-itx-case

you're games will run considerably faster on a SSD, quicker load times, etc.
