Hey Sup Forums im building a new PC. And im in a dilema do i get SSD 256 GB and Graphic Card with 2 GB or no SSD with Graphic Card with 4GB
Pic related it's the one with 2GB
Hey Sup Forums im building a new PC...
Buy a used GTX770
Not sure about this one, I own a GTX770
But you MUST have a SSD, and maybe best with about 500GB they are godtier
They are recently cheap, not so expensive like 5 years ago
wait for 1070
/thread
save your money. dont compromise on a graphics card.
videocardbenchmark.net
It's the third highest rated performance/price card, so get the one pictured.
the SSD is mandatory, save up and get the card later
im not trustiong enough to buy a used one too much rist of it being broken
I'm more-less poor and im already using all the money i have on this so i want to know whats the money best spent
Also, If you dont have more than 2 monitors and no bigger resolution over 2560x1440 then 4GB isn't worth it.
If you don't know, then you're a dumb fuck who has no business even bothering with this shit.
AKA You're a fucking idiot
I just bought this one:
evga.com
for about 220$
I know it very well, but is it a crime to want to hear others opinions ?
Trust me, SSD.. you gain alot more with these, its very well spent.
Uh faggot buy the 1080
i7 / 8gb+ / GTX 970 / 256GB SSD
That's all you need to know.
Save longer, the 1070 just came out for around 360$ and i heard it can preform as well as a titan or the 980
thats what i planned on getting is a 630 FTW. but i want to wait for 1070s so im good for years and years to come
>if you dont already fucking know, then fuck off from My hobby REEEE!
This is what gives PCfags a bad name, fuck off.
This , dont go half ass on everything in a system and if you dont have enough money just min max your shit with the specifications to upgrade later.
An SSD really isnt that important unless you care about loading times, Id get the 4GB GPU.
1070 master race.. wait two fucking months. thank yourself
>An SSD really isnt that important unless you care about loading times,
a spinning drive will nearly cripple a modern gaming gaming computer as a boot drivee
get an i7 and just use the integrated
You referring to the boot times on a SSD vs HDD?
I have a SSD myself and whilebitbis nice for the system to boot fast and run smooth, shiny and chrome, for a poorfag like OP the money spent on a SSD could get better performance if used on other components first.
i disagree, they are now cheap and a spinning drive can bottleneck your videocard
Not OP but I'm going to have about £1k. What's the best build I can get so it lasts me for The whole duration of University? So about 4ish years?
look op, you only need a 4gb graphics card if youre gaming in a higher resolution than 1080P.
and the pic related is a terrible for that sort of gameplay. if youre gaming in 1080p just go with the 2gb 750ti or r9 270x (if you can afford) and get the ssd.
btw 256 gb SSD is not enough for a gaming pc. you will only be able to install one mordern game (like gta v) at a time.
Buy a 128gb ssd for the OS only and a hdd for data/programs.
Then buy a used 4 gb gpu.
>Buying old nvidia shit
Wait for 1000 series or buy amd card
>im not trustiong enough to buy a used one too much rist of it being broken
Test the used gpu with a benchmark like 3dmark before you buy it.
This. Get a second terabyte HDD for like $45.
How easy is it to jew Amazon for free graphics cards?
This wouldnt even cover the Pepe section of any decent man's saved memes...
fucking wait for pascal/zen/polaris
If you play games 4GB VRAM would probably help tbh
it is
if you have only 1080p monitor then your rig gonna last longer
Hows that 3.5gb of VRAM treating you?
>85 bucks
When i got that exact same one it was closer to 150....
Alright maybe an SSD isnt such a bad idea after all.
>£1k
im going by us prices so it might change but
>Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core
>CRYORIG M9i 48.4 CFM
>Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD3 ATX LGA1151
>Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
>Crucial BX100 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
>Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
>DUAL MSI Radeon R9 390X 8GB in Crossfire/SLI
>Silverstone KL05B-Q ATX Mid Tower
>EVGA 850W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX
this is the build if you want to overclock.
If you want faster performing Windows and loading times get the SSD, if you want better performing games get the 4GB over the 2GB GPU.The SSD will probably make the biggest noticeable difference.
nah, i have it like that and then bought another ssd, the loading times are fucking worth a second ssd with about 500gb
>crossfire @ 1080p
waste of money
>overclocking cpu
waste of time and money.
SSD before GFX
Bump
the amount of faggots in this thred is amazin. hey OP, fuck SSD load times ain't that important, get a decent gfx card, a 950 will do and gpu is more important than 2 or 4 gb ram on graphics card. there's no such thing like 2 or 4 gb GPU, go fuck yourself underage fags.
and the ugly guys losers keep lying cause too ugly to hurt popular people and try to hurt the popular people
ererr
and the ugly guys losers keep lying cause too ugly to hurt popular people with uu looks ee e and try to hurt the popular people
Dude or lady dude, wait until the Nvidia 1070 it's stronger than the titan and only 369
Seriously. If you can wait do the 1070/80. If not go with cheapo card and upgrade it next year.
