sup Sup Forums how is living in an suburb?

Boring as fuck.

That's one of those prefab suburbs. Not the same.

how boring?

pretty cash. got a weedman a few houses down.

That artificial settlement totally doesn't fit the natural landscape.

I prefer living in the city.

A younger me would have considered this hell on earth. Now I don't want to talk to anyone and just play vidya after I get home from work, so I'd be alright with this.

Pretty boring, unless you have friends. Nothings there, but it's cheaper than living in a city.

Inner city Detroit is more expansive than that?

Wouldn't trade city living for anything else. In America.
I could do some cool village in a foreign country for a while or a tropical shit.

I guess if you wanna live in Detroit.

Saint Louis Missouri, reference point somewhere near the cathedral basilica, observing westward.

>San Jose
>anywhere in California
>especially in LA, San Diego, or Bay Area

Each one of those houses is probably over $800,000.

Fuck California.

it sucks
country livin ftw

i mean suburbans as a whole, this is just random pic

keep in mind the most expensive california places are barely half of manhattan prices using $ / ft-sq

You are correct st louis
625 north Euclid
New lofts going in at the building.

It's not any big deal, I grew up in North Phoenix. Avoid buying a house in a neighborhood with an HOA - I refuse to live anywhere with an HOA.

>wanting to live in a cold as shit place ie anywhere that's not the Southwest
Why even live

Everything's whiter; I love it!

Phoenix is one big suburb

The drunk walk home after a party in is safer than being drunk downtown. At least you wouldn't get raped/robbed. In my experience.

Yup. I mean really there are three choices:

>live in the center of a major city
+Close to things like clubs, bars, stadiums, work, things to do
+Trendy
-Awful parking
-No privacy
-Expensive rent
-No yard or parks or trails
-Crime, probably don't want to go out alone at night

>live in the subarbs
+Still fairly close to clubs, bars, stadiums, etc
+Cheaper than the city
+Actually have a yard, parks, access to hiking
+Can be building ownership of a home instead of throwing money away for rent
-May have to deal with HOAs if you're stupid
-Maybe get some child abuse accusations if you take your kids to the park and some retard bitch soccer mom thinks she's serving justice by calling the cops? I dunno

>live in rural areas
+Really cheap
+Shit tons of land
+As much privacy as you can handle
-Far as hell from "city" activities
-Need to be extra vigilant (ie own a gun) because people assume rural=abandoned and will break into your house

Each one has its merits, and I don't think any of them are inherently worse than the others. I think it'd be really fun to live in downtown Phoenix for a year, especially with all the gentrification that's been going on, but it would be expensive and not really put me closer to my goals in life.

Grew up in LA suburbs. Fuckin awesome. Ride your bike everywhere, no crime, lots of buddies, big garage for projects, plenty of nice white girls to poke on, cops don't bother you as long as you're white or asian. No stress.
