This is only the appeal for newfags in the fluffy fandom. In old school fluffy stories from 2012-2014 or so, the fluffies were all total innocents being tortured. They all saw the world as huggies and wuv and sketties, and the abusers were torturing them in their innocence. The more recent "justified abuse" lore where they make fluffies easily hated came about to appease people who wanted a reason to hurt fluffies.
