Anybody in Houston remember a kids shoe store with a giant pirate ship in it during the late 70's to early 80's?

There used to be one everywhere.

Free popcorn anyone?

I bought my first leather jacket there. It was only $100 in 90s monies.

How big would the VCR have to be?

we used to have one in our tiny town. My brother and I would go and get free popcorn for lunch some days over the summer

I used to stuff bags of the popcorn in my pockets thinking i was stealing, good times

Still there, but very soon to be gone.

ALso still around, but nowhere near as cool.

I loved this place, they sold all the new king's quest and leisure suit larry games.

Is it really still there?
Damn It's been a long time since I was there.

We had a place similar to that.

I remember that place. Try harder.

Similar is right. What is going on here? Some conspiracy?

Holy shit! There was a place where I could buy a six pack of preteens?

Mine turned into a Stew Leonard's.

I love that late 70's earth tone rainbow that was everywhere.

Longshot, but does anyone remember an indoor playground in Sarasota in 1995? It was mostly red, and they had a giant slide that was a bunch of rolling tubes? It was the place to go for birthdays, and they had a party room off to the side at the front and had some power rangers decorations.

This place doesn't exist anymore. They knocked this beautiful historic building down to build a square brick ass krispy kream. The krispy cream went out of business 2 years later and now it's a bank.

Fuck krispy kreme.
They did that to a lot of places during their starbucks expansion phase, and then most of them closed.

Circus playhouse

Had my 8th birthday here
