the most important thing is being patient with end users. i cannot tell you how insanely moronic the emails i deal with on a daily basis can be. if you can be friendly and deal with that, most of the rest of it is just having the ability to read documentation, use google properly and know how to systematically solve problems.
that's my favorite part. when something doesn't work as expected and i manage to figure it out when no one else can.
