I'm a socialist with a number of mental health issues, including some serious sexual confusion that, after talking to a trans friend of mine, she says is potential evidence for me being trans. But this is the fucking thing. I look around in the world and see "feminists" being assholes with no point. I see the "trans community" making no fucking sense and destroying culture. I see "leftist politics" ruining entire nations by letting in refugees and making safe spaces for all the weak special snowflake assholes. Am I just getting jaded with this shit, or what? I'm more and more tempted to just resist all that trans freudian psychobabble, cut off all connections with my current friends, become a fascist and start over from scratch at the hopes of not being such a degenerate in the future. What do I do?

As for the trans thing, I haven't really made a judgement, and that's the irritating part. I'm going into therapy for some shit here soon, so hopefully it'll eventually resolve it, but fuck. I don't know if it's legitimate and I need to fucking consider who I am so I can clear my perception, or if it's a ton of trendy garbage that would ruin my life. An incorrect judgement is enough to ruin me either way. Fuck everything

It sounds to me like you feel inadequate as a man as you don't regard yourself as sufficiently masculine and so you have embraced the concept that being a women would be an escape from your inadequacy; but that is a delusion as attempting to become a women will only make you feel inadequate about not being sufficiently feminine.
