Quite possibly the saddest, or at least most bittersweet story in rap. Was happy, healthy, fashionable. Then one week started the spiral. Brother dies in the stupidest, most preventable way. Less than a week later KMD is prompted to leave their label over Black Bastards. Today, that shit would probably be lauded the way TPaB is, and labels would kill to have it.
But, you know. He reemerged as the villain, and that's likely the way he'll stay. Happy he found his market, and the scarcity of new content, I hope, means he's at least successful enough to live modestly.
