Hi Paul, I'd like to talk about my Auburn Tigers

September 3, 2016: The Clemson Tigers make a big statement by thrashing Auburn 100-0 in their own stadium.
September 4, 2016: Gus Malzahn is fired, Kevin Steele is interim coach. We all prepare for an 0-12 season.
September 10, 2016: We beat Arkansas State 16-14 when they miss a chip shot as time expires.
September 17, 2016: Trevor Knight throws 5 picks in a 24-20 win for the Tigers.
September 24, 2016: Leonard Fournette rushes for 500 yards in an instant classic shootout, but a late fumble on the 1 yard line allows Auburn to escape with a 55-52 win.
September 25, 2016: Auburn receives votes in both the AP and the Coaches Poll
November 26, 2016: Auburn is 10-1, ranked 12th, Alabama is 11-0, unanimous 1st. On the back of a 7 TD performance by Jeremy Johnson, Auburn wins with a 65 yard field goal as time expires.
December 3, 2016: #7 Auburn thrashes #14 Tennessee in the SEC championship, 61-14
December 4, 2016: The playoff selections are announced, Auburn creeps in at #4.
December 11, 2016: Jeremy Johnson narrowly beats out Christian McCaffrey for the Heisman
December 31, 2016: Auburn beats Michigan with the controversial aid of 5 penalties called on Jim Harbaugh.
January 9, 2017: In a rematch against the undefeated Clemson Tigers, Auburn wins 85-84 in a similar fashion to Appalachian State's Miracle on the Mountain.

Book it.

Stay strong, friends. We can't let ourselves be sunk by soccer.

missing rutgers and maryland

What do you expect from the worst division in college football aka the B1G west, take it easy on them

They may not be listed, but is anyone really missing them?

if my team were in their division i'd miss the free wins

>not maxing out the old thread

Get the fuck in there, trolls.

steadfast lads, we must brace the storm

Show that our football is the superior form!

Is there anymore doubt that Alabama has everyone by the balls? What the fuck

What is everyone's favorite team from their school to look back on? Mine has to be the 2002 Ohio State Buckeyes. It was when I first started getting into football, and watching them was like watching a Cinderella team
>Tressellball
>All of the promise of Maurice Clarett

>Cryami tears
>winning one for Da Bus(Columbus)

Just a magical moment for Ohio State. So much nostalgia when re-watching highlights from that team.

2010 Auburn was the first season I really got into football, but 2013 was my favorite because I was able to go to so many great games that year (2010 my family was only able to do the Georgia game)

Is it Minnesota's year?

northwestern's year

I really, really like Pat Fitzgerald

why girl

he's been their coach forever and he's only 41
how does he do it

go huskers

>inb4 killed off by the four hundred soccer threads with two replies

we'll be fine, were the Aryans of generals

can't kill us off

Whose got the first FBS matchup this season? I know FCS typically kicks off before, but when is the first real college football game?

Because they hired him the moment he finished his senior year because he's literally the only good thing ever associated with Northwestern football

Don't worry, I will protect /cfb/ with incessant shitposting.

I go to tOSU and have lived in Columbus my whole life so of course they are my team. I got to go to the 2003 NC game. Stadium was 85% red

no me

>the Ohio State Oklahoma game is on at 7:30 on FOX

Fucking really? They have to have Stanford USC at the 8pm slot? Fucking retarded

>FOX is going to get The Game in the future

Are you fucking serious? God damn. What a shame. FOX is really trying to kill ESPN. Maybe it's for the better. Its just that I hate everything about FOX's broadcasts of college games. I couldn't tell the name of one announcer on FOX that covers cfb.

If Tennessee has above average QB play they have a chance to make the playoffs

>FOX is trying to kill ESPN

And Elmer Fudd is trying to kill Bugs Bunny but that doesn't mean shit, either.

They are truly awful. They used to be the best NFL broadcaster but now they are only slightly better than NFL but worse than CBS, ESPN, and NBC (in that order)

>cheeki breeki

Beating Alabama twice?
Not a snowball's chance in hell

Who are your favorite commentators? I've got to go with the power combo of Brad Nessler and Todd Blackledge, with honorable mention to Brent Musburger

Alabama can be vulnerable this year if they can't find consistent qb play. I still see double digit wins but they won't be a juggernaut

Even with an orange traffic cone at quarterback, the talent gap between Alabama and Tennessee is massive.
Alabama doesn't have to be a juggernaut to curbstomp UT by 30.

I feel like Ole Piss is gonna steal 1 or 2 games from you again.

tfw my man cam robinson is a saint and he din do shit

>being FBS
>worrying about any Mississippi team

What century is this.

Think of the level Coker was playing at for most of last year. QB is certainly a question, sure, but it's not hard to imagine that we could find someone who could replicate that level of play or better

PurpCats reporting

CBS has the worst goddamn NFL broadcast. Fuck Phil Simms.

Weren't you on hiatus

unofficially, Sup Forums just doesn't really have anything to keep me around outside of /cfb/ season. testing the waters now that basketball season's over, you'll probably see more and more of me in these threads

>I feel like Ole Piss is gonna steal 1 or 2 games from you again
>1 or 2 games from you again
>2 games

How the hell is Ole Miss gonna beat Alabama twice in the same season?

>only likes /cfb/
>there are no teams in /cfb/ called the Giants

Seems legit.

I'm an NYG fan too but i dunno. the NFL just isn't as much fun to shitpost about

You're gonna need a team, GI Jane.

>only 2 more months until College Gameday
>only 2 more months until Saturday's and Sundays full of football
>only 3 more months until conference matchups

desu, I looked at the first two weeks of the season and it's going to be shit but it doesn't matter.
As long as there are Saturday games I am complete

you kiddin? this is gonna be one of the most lit week 1's of all time

huh?

verne

rip... the farewell tour is gonna be emotional

He's the official Alabama trip you fucking newfag

week 2 is gonna be shit. Just look up the games

Verne is pretty based. At least they are replacing him with another GOAT in Nessler

oh i know. week 2 being complete trash is the greatest cfb tradition of all

So is McAffery gonna make it as a pro?

probably not a pro bowl player but he'll have a good career

mccaffery trash, only made it this far because of white privilege,

no because he's a scrawny ass white boi

Then he needs to change his name to Crimson Tide Gonna Ti, because this is /cfb/, brosephine.

I for one won't miss him. He's iconic, but in the bad way at this point.

WE LEGIT NOW

Fuck off tbqh

>Have the best QB group in the country
>Have great depth at almost every offensive position
>Great offensive coordinator on the rise
>Got an average schedule with some up and down teams and not a goddamn gauntlet for once
>Still going to go 9-3 because shit DC and shit LBs and DBs

Bootyblast me to death please.

who /kirby/ here?

>tfw he cucks Tennessee and leads UGA to Atlanta

i /kirby/ because i fully expect him to bust as a coach
but richt has owned us so i'm cool with the change

...

I think he will do better than Richt at Georgia, but I also think Richt will be better at miami than he was at georgia.

That said, Georgia won't win the SEC.

>mfw UrBASED Meyer wins another for Da Bus

NO YOU ARE

Gonna be so sweet

Please come back football I cant watch this soccer anymore.

I can really only watch when it's USA, big underdogs, or my team in the MLS postseason. There's still some small countries in the Euro, but once they're gone it's gonna be unwatchable

he's got his favorite type of team. crazy talented, but unproven. these lads will be a motivated force come november. they'll hang half a hundy on the fighting harbaughs again.

No. soccer is insufferable on all instances and occurrences. Only gay retarded butt pirates who are also homosexual nigger fags enjoy soccer.

Will harbough get fired if never beats OSU but still averages 9 wins a season?

Alabama and SEC country really proved just how much they are willing to sweep under the rug for the sake of college football.

He will have a health crisis and take his talents to texas.

if he goes 0-4 vs tOSU he will either leave for the NFL or get fired.

>nba over
>nhl over
>boreball is bore
>soccer sucks

YEAH BUDDY

lol ok, clearly that prosecutor down in the middle of LSU country is in Saban's pocket. Clearly.

LSU knows it doesn't have a shot at the playoffs even if Bama lost those 2 players.
So they do like every other southerner with crap teams and hitch their wagon to the SEC.
Also, you don't even know how much Bama paid that prosecutor yet.

If you're going to be #mad #online, at least craft an argument that makes sense

Have you ever actually been online?

yes, he's gonna cuck the white guilt cucks

they had a bad record last year (4-8), but played three P5s away: NC State, Wisconsin, and Mississippi State.

they weren't ready for the triple-meme against Georgia Southern, but other than that they ended the season with some positives, including playing app state close.
