Hiromi Uehara. She's my favorite musician overall not just female.
I can't think of many other female musicians I listen to, and 0 non-singers now that I think about it. Erykah Badu, Lalah Hathaway and Corrine Bailey Rae are great singers, but I really listen to them only because they do a lot of stuff with other musicians I like.
