Screencap it lads

Did anyone really care about Jules Bianchi?

formula1.com/content/fom-website/en/video/2016/6/Grill_the_grid_-_Kimi_Raikkonen.html

amus claim red bull recommend him to renault. he's been out of f1for nearly 5 years. yes, he's red bull's test driver, but that means little.

what reason would renault have to take him? they can go after anyone.

also:

>A new sponsor for @McLarenF1 in the form of 'official lifestyle partner' @MichaelKors, a brand with 3x as many followers as the team!

TOP K E K

when you think about it, the Latvijan flag is just a niggerer Osterreich flag.

Im guessing the reason why he may actually get a seat is because of his ties with eDams Renault in FE, which are basically the Renault of FE. Maybe theyre impressed by his driving but the fact that hes not dominating in a car miles better than the rest of the field and his qualifying choking I highly doubt they'll pick him up. That being said though I'd much prefer to have him back over Palmer.

Well, we only really saw him in a Marussia shitbox against Reliable Chilton, but he seemed promising.
Had he lived now he'd probably be in the 2nd Haas seat waiting to play as Vettel's second as soon as Raikkonen leaves.

If anything his FE performance has shown that he is actually not a great driver for F1 and the likes.

Their car was/is the best by miles and is good enough to start last and finish on the podium in a semi-spec series yet he hasn't ran away with the championship as he should have

He chokes so often and makes a lot of stupid mistakes (Mexico, Long Beach, all those failed qualis) and occasionally has great drives. He has been out of F1 for so long, I don't really see him as a smart investment unless Renault really want to start pushing Formula E as a feeder series.

Renault should keep Magnussen for the sake of consistency and because he is pretty good and doesn't fuck up that much and give the second seat to Ocon who is a hotshot and beat Verstappen in F3

they'd do better to assess ocon in fp1s this year, buy him out from mercedes if needed, and put him in the car next year.

Yes, hopefully, Buemi was underrated and unlucky af.

Ferrari said that Bianchi's intended career trajectory was Sauber for 2015 and then depending on how he does there, Ferrari for 2016. Supposedly a lot of the Sauber drama with drivers basically happened as a result of Bianchi potatoing (Bianchi was probably part of the Ferrari engine deal desu)

>Micheal Schumacher is out of coma after more than 3 years

Fangio named :^)

Right, I had forgotten about the Sauber thing.

>that radio message where he missed out in quali and sounded like crying

This one in particular was from 'Senna vs. Prost' by Malcolm Folley. A bretty gr8 book if you want to learn more about F1 through the 80s and early 90s.

F1 books I've read :-

>'Senna Versus Prost: The Story of the Most Deadly Rivalry in Formula One' - Malcolm Folley

>'Ayrton Senna - The Whole Story' - Christopher Hilton

>'Michael Schumacher - The Whole Story' - Christopher Hilton

>'Michael Schumacher - Driven to Extremes' - James Allen

>'Michael Schumacher - The Edge of Greatness' - James Allen

>'The Death of Ayrton Senna' - Richard Williams,

>Wobbler's book

Out of all these, the only ones I wouldn't recommend for interesting stories would be Wobbler's, and 'The Death of Ayrton Senna', the former because I had little to no interest in Wobbler aside from the fractious Red Bull years, and the latter because it's the perfect illustration of how to fellate a dead man.

>The Death of Ayrton Senna
I actually have that one at home, somebody bought it as a gift. Haven't read it yet. I also have "Formula One Fanatic" by Koen Vergeer, but it was basically a Dutch fan's retelling of F1 history with some minor inaccuracies.

I would recommend "Life at the Limit" and "Beyond the Limit" by Sid Watkins. Apparently "Rapid Response" by Steve Olvey is also good, but I haven't read it yet and it's about CART, not F1.

It's a good read for a blind Senna fanboy, but if you have even a modicum of respect for Prost, that book is garbage for you. It's much worse than even the Senna """documentary"""

>"Life at the Limit" and "Beyond the Limit" by Sid Watkins

Do you happen to have a download link for their e-books? I usually have to torrent them.

No, I bought those on Amazon. There are some good deals if you don't mind buying used books. You can probably find those for 0.01 GBP and only have to pay for delivery.

>Thread dies, Schumacher dies
he's already ded

Is Wobblers book really that bad? I'm not a huge fan of him either but I want to read it to get some insight into the Red Bull dynamics and what went on behind the scenes.

I also want to read Jackie Stewart's book.

Wobbler's isn't really bad; it just doesn't go into enough detail for my taste, particularly compared to all those other biographies written by journalists.

Plus, I was never really interested in the guy. So it probably came across as worse to me than it actually is.

Thank you so much :3

Only one percent of one Good Boy Point for a book? Might check into these honestly

Good evening lads

anyone can provide the tyre allocation for osterreich?

do not read it. it's self-dick suckimg: the book. the f1 bits are okay, but i hate how it's pushed that he was a sole safety crusader. rindt, mosley and tyrrell were just as responsible.

...

Also curious, is it ultra/super/soft for this race or super/soft/medium?

lmgtfy.com/?q=f1 tyre allocation austria

name the next softest tyre
>gigasoft

Is spa the only race with the hard tire? Tbh I think the ultrasoft there would be kek worthy

Nah, the megasoft, because according to the drivers everything is mega

Welp.

Hey guys? You like Kimi? If so, watch this FUNNY video with him: youtube.com/watch?v=a3tOeX7SyNg

Bwoah.

bumping 4 Schumi

>terasoft

>last two digits determines what minute you fall asleep watching another snoozefest of a "race"....

HALO/big tyres/bit more fuel etc. But how will F1 get cucked the next time they make a big decision? I honestly can't think of a way.

diarrhoea-soft

Treaded tyres.

I don't think they would be retarded enough to first decide on bigger tyres and then get rid of slicks. Right?

Peak oil

inline i4 with 60% of the horsepower coming from hybrid motor

they finally did it, the absolute madmen

>tfw no russian island grand prix in 2003

Stay save, Schumi.

Also how many years you think until we see Mick Schumacher in F1. I'd say three

2 or 3 years yeah, he's probably not as good as his father though.

Hey, you asked.

thanks

Kilosoft

Obviously not, but he's doing breddy gud in Formel 4 these days. Might be better than Ralf at least

I think we can be pretty sure he will outperform his father

well memed, Baku

>Hamilton
>Caramelized onions

kek

they all sound pretty tasty tho

I swear I've seen something very similar before.
Oh well, I'm off to bed. Americans and Ozzies had better make sure the thread is still alive tomorrow, or else.

16 euro for a fucking hot dog?

Didn't know there were so many Jews in Baku....

> euro
Retard.

azerbaijan uses the euro just like the us uses the mexican peso

Amtrak ends up a potato due to daft move. Kneejerk rules brought in that kill F1 for good. His sister has to do porn to pay for medical centre to be built.

Fuck off trav

it's not euro, but that's still 10 bucks for a fucking hotdog

leave him alone he knows what to do :DDDDDDD

Please wake up ;_;

What do you want the fat Greek bastard to wake up for?

I thought /f1/ hoped he died in his slumber

Hey guys, I just bought a Scuderia Ferrari t shirt. It was expensive but worth it! what do you think?

>actually supporting Schumacher

FUCKING CHEATER

>euro
guess the Baka plan to appear yuropeen is working

Guys, guys:
Bag-u

Because there were bags on the track.

Eh?

VotingToStay/10

So?

$7.00 isn't much for a hot dog, I mean, for the convenience and all, so when you think about that, $8.50 isn't much to ask at all for a hot dog, so surely anyone would be willing to spend $9.00 for a hot dog at an F1 race, because $10.00 for an F1 hot dog is a perfectly reasonable price.

So you paid to be a shill for Shell, UPS, Ferarri, and every other asshole name printed on that shirt.

KYS.

>tfw it'll never be the 70's again

Historic Racing, especially F5000/Libre, is the best.

this, I wish they didn't sell shirts for the fans with ads

>Grown men buying and wearing sports shit as if they were still 10 year olds....

Pretty pathetic.

Sacks/10

Anyone else a little uneasy that they've just released a Schumi-themed game on Steam with him still in a coma? Strikes me as a bit in poor taste or a cheap cash in - though maybe it's helping Mick's F4 campaign, which would make me a little less unhappy about it:

Sacku?

Shit, nigger, who the fuck do you think told me to quit wearing sports shit like a child?
