I agree, 3 is certainly their weakest. Dead Silence was alright, it had some decent tracks. You should listen to their new singles and see what you think - Afraid of Heights is good, but Louder Than the DJ is pretty shit. It's nothing like anything they've ever done, and it just doesn't fit in with the rest of their songs. Fair enough though, we've all been there.
