i liked SAW more

It's clearly this.

It's really this one

Ok but in all seriousness

saw II is miles ahead of anything else he has made.

the middle is weak but the album contains his best song

It's weird how inconsistent his output is.

his entire album discog is just a compilation after compilation of different tracks

like the album in the op has tracks taken from his early techno era and industrial downtempo tracks from the ventolin ep's and tracks usually associated with his melodies from mars project etc.

guy is a walking soundcloud dump (telling this in a good way)

Thats how it should be for electronic artists unless the music is entirely conceptual

drukQs > SAW Vol II > SAW 85-92 > Analord > Syro > ...ICBYD > 26 Mixes for Cash > Hangable Auto Bulb > Ventolin EP > Come to Daddy > RDJ Album > The Tuss releases > Surfing on Sine Waves > Windowlicker single > On EP > Cheetah> Analogue Bubblebath Series > Caustic Window releases > Orphaned deejay selek 06-08 > Expert Knob Twiddlers > rest of pseudonyms

Lol why though
>but it's a singles genre
>but DJ mixes
Rock also started as a "singles genre"

can u recommend me other albums/musicians/songs that are similar to SAW II?
thank you

SAW II is vastly overrated and there is much better ambient out there.

What if the best Richard James album is an undiscovered album under a pseudonym no one has figured out its really him and exists solely on some soundcloud that has 5 subscribers?

I have a feeling this is in fact a reality and it is the thing that Richard holds as his greatest achievement .

There's no way there aren't RDJ albums on Soundcloud he's uploaded that no one's heard.

How wrong can one man be?
I agree with you on Drukqs and Analord

You know what, I actually hadn't listened to it in a long time. It's much more dynamic than I had remembered it being. I still think some of his other work is much better though.

how would you know?

you don't
thats why it exists and no one has found it.

>Poor man's Autechre

Far from it.

Amazing album but my tinnitus can't stand Ventolin. Always gotta skip that song.
