cool stuff

Cocteau Twins - Heaven or Las Vegas
Junior Boys - Last Exit
David Axelrod - Song of Innocence
Thee Oh Sees - Carrion Crawler/The Dream
The Clientele - Suburban Light
Luomo - Vocalcity
Herbie Hancock - Head Hunters
Tiger Trap - Tiger Trap
Ride - Going Blank Again
Trust - Joyland

It's not on my Top 10 (this one ) but Lonesome Crowded West is fucking great. My favorite Modest Mouse album definitely.

bazinga

not even the best modest mouse, elliott smith, radiohead or mac demarco albums desu

did you know that people have opinions that differ from yours

You changed yours up and added Salad Days. Great album, what did you think of Another One? Personally it's my favorite from Mac.
I LOVE Penguin Café Orchestra. The Sound of Someone You Love is one of my favorite songs ever. Very nice taste.
Never understood the love for that Little Kid album. Check out Keaton Henson - Dear

i did change it up haha. desu i haven't listened to another one yet, just haven't gotten to it.

we are the same person

Give it a chance one day, it's much more synth oriented than Salad Days, but if you liked Chamber of Reflection then you should be good. Just wait for a sunny day when you're feeling lonely and listen to it.

That Little Kid album just came out at the right time in my life, and the lyrics really connect with me. And it reminds of my ex but in a good way. I'm listening to Dear now, and it's great so far, thanks for the recc man!

>we are the same person

That's unfortunate, I'm so sorry for you have to go through.
Fair enough, it does have some charm to it. Glad you're enjoying Dear, it's an album that also reminds me of an ex, but in a bad way.

(OP)
>what is pitchfork for 200 alex
still good stuff

not even the best mbv EP

lots of elliott smith so far; wish i liked s/t a bit more
E/O > XO > RC > ES > F8

you look ready for the snow

>>what is pitchfork for 200 alex
what?

Yeah, he's singing about some sad shit on here for sure

yeah but my opinion is objective

Not necessarily in any order

Kanye West - Late Registration
Quasimoto - Further Adventures of Lord Quas
Wilco - Sky Blue Sky
Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
Radiohead - In Rainbows
Danny Brown - XXX
Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
Brand New - The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me
Cymande - Cymande

...

didnt see your post, we share nmh and sky blue sky! one of the less popular wilco records

love timber timbre, mac, souvlaki, bloom, a lot of good picks

Yeah, I adore Sky Blue Sky and never understood the hate for it ^~^

Why did you put SFTB there? You don't like it that much.

i see comus on Sup Forums every day would you recommend it to me?

western culture is such a one of a kind album
what are the two on the right of each row?

It's always awesome to see someone else who loves Bluffer's Guide

I really enjoy it, yeah I hated it first listen but once you move pass the weird alien sounds it's pretty good.

Yeah, it's one of the few albums I'd call a near-masterpiece. Can't believe it's not Sup Forums-core yet desu

Totally. Outta curiosity, what else would you call a masterpiece/near-masterpiece?

Great taste my dawg
Ground-Zero - Consume Red
Make a Rising - Infinite Ellipse and Head with Open Fontanel

What album is that on bottom left?

Not him, but here it is,

Not in any real order. Only one tMG album to avoid clogging up the chart. Honorable mention to Loveless and to B L A C K I E's True Spirit and Not Giving a Fuck.

I tend to prefer Mayhem/Darkthrone for 2nd wave but still cool. Not much metal made it in to my top 10, mostly because I've been listening to less of it lately, but I was a big metal fan in later high school and undergrad and I'm still pretty into it

Both of y'all have Elliott Smith in addition to some stuff I like. I've been told I'd like him but never really gone out of my way to listen to his music. Where should I start?

op here, definitely start with Either/Or

That's very difficult to answer, but I suppose I'll list a few albums I see as basically flawless

ITAOTS - NMH
Days of Future Passed - Moody Blues
Mount Eerie - Microphones
Abbey Road - Beatles
DSotM - Pink Floyd
Beggar's Banquet - Rolling Stones
What We Did on Our Holidays - Fairport Convention

It's really hard trying to define what a masterpiece is or isn't, but these are just the few albums where I'd say every track is essential and says something deep-rooted as a whole and is very close to my heart, as corny as that sounds. Idk

dope shit

>MCR in top 4
>DSotM on the same level as any of them
>Graduation above MBDTF
why dude

Patrician desu but can't count

no order for mine

Also, it could just have to do with me having a personal connection with a few of these

thanks!

don't listen to , mcr is pretty great

you like good music though
