He died in his Florida home on June 8th, at about 6pm. He seemingly died of a heart attack, while making a sandwich in his kitchen. He was found by his lover Deyvi Orangel Peña Arteaga, when he came home and saw James Randi laying face down on the kitchen tiles. Deyvi Orangel Peña Arteaga called 911, and the paramedics pronounced James Randi DOA, dead on arrival.
