Sherlock Holmes. I got this huge book with all the stories like 1000 pages and I flew through that shit. So entertaining, and not like too deep or anything. Just fun interesting stories

Sequel was utter shite and should never have been written. Would have much preferred to see a prequel with Jack, seeing as though he's the only character that the reader can actually relate to

This a thousand times.

Just read Dune recently. Breddy gud, dare I say slightly overregarded.

The Black Company series by Glenn Cook

...

that is indeed a good read bought a physical copy after reading the epub version

Underated by those who havent read it, overated by those who have, tge first one I liked, it was great and gave a bunch of good concepts that paved the way for Star Wars, and had a great influence on the amazing Warhammer 40k. The second one was eh, seemed like a waste of paper, children on Dune begins getting weird, abd it gets into uncanney valley from there, but reading the firstonealone wont give gou enough info on the overall dune universe.

This is the best book I ever read

Whats this one about, seen it in my bookstore

This Perfect Day
By Ira Levin

Best book for drinking and reading

This is not a lie

Might be this, certainly gave me some interesting feels.

I have read Battlefield Earth over 3 times.

I've reread this book many times. I even enjoy the movie that barely comes close to the book. Good shit.

Meh. Fear and Loathing was a hoot, but I found most of his other stuff to be a little self-indulgent and too clever by half.

Have you read his novel Vampire$?

Seriously? No mention of Catch-22 yet? What the fuck, guys?

Oh my yes. Gave me...unnatural feelings.

still read once a year

Yes. I need to revisit this and see if it holds up after a couple decades.
