drop the i7 and go with an i5, not a big difference for gaming, and pirate windows 7 and then upgrade to windows 10 if you want

Why buy Windows 10 for 135€ when you can buy genuine Windows 7 for 14€ ? ebay.com/itm/Microsoft-Windows-7-Professional-32-64-ESD-Multilanguage-Original-License-Key-/262240290262?hash=item3d0ebd45d6:g:iWoAAOSwKtlWi7hj

Youre going to want an ssd for os, maby 16gb of ram

i7 is literally useless for gaming
>
Get an i5-4670(k) or an i5-4690(k) ("k" if you want to overclock at some point)

Wow, where to start.

First wait for the RX 480 to come out from AMD, it'll be stronger than the 970 for less. The 970 is getting replaced by the 1070 in a few days anyway.

Second, get an i5 6600k instead of the i7. You don't need an i7 for gaming and have the unlocked multiplier will let you overlock.

You'll need a cpu cooler so get a Hyper 212 EVO. You can do a little OC work and it's super cheap.

Memory is a little gay looking, but other than that it's fine.

And get an EVGA 650 watt psu, 750 if you wanna do crossfire someday. Those CX series are know for blowing up systems.

Buy a fucking xbox

OP Here

yeah thought about buying an i5 instead
Can I upgrade the CPU later on though?

yeah i know should've not put it in there

I think 8 gb is fine for now, I can easily upgrade it later

Also
> paying for an OS
> 135€ no less
Just use Daz loader, Microsoft won't notice.

windows 10 is cancer

I really can't stress enough how much you should avoid the CX series, EVGA and Seasonic are where it's at.

Yeah, you can upgrade the CPU but if you get a good unlocked i5 you won't need to.

yeah it will have the same cpu socket, so yes for later upgrade and 8gbs is generally fine

As said earlier, i5 and i7 have nearly identical performance for gaming. Unless your doing graphical or video rendering on a large scale (e.g. 3ds MAX, Maya, large scale Aftereffects or Premier projects) you won't need the i7.

my wife just knocked my rigs tower off the desk and onto the floor. tore the hdmi right off my 7970 ghz. now shes pissed at me because of it...

Thanks fam, appreciate the input
I'll drop the CX

i5 it is then

do not get the 970 unless you find it for less than 220. save up a bit and get the 1070 instead

>build a gaming pc
kill yourself

Why is she be pissed at you for.

gtfo console shill

OP

Yeah I might wait a month
Do you know when they'll be more widely available? It's all sold out (obviously)

Also, does anyone have any recommendations for a keyboard?

> ISIS uses mentally challenged children as suicide bombers
> implying there are non-retards in ISIS to use

because it fell on her when she tripped on the psu cable while cleaning.

lol

I can see her argument if you had the psu cable in a retarded place. If not, then how she managed to do that eludes me.

Peasant.

im not really sure how long it'll take for them to restock ,i suggest constantly checking major online retailers like newegg and amazon. definitely avoid getting the stock founders edition card and wait for a board partner version as they will be cheaper and have better cooling and potential overclocking capabilities

you are buying the wrong 300 pound video card

AMD's RX 480 - Comparable to R9 390, better and cheaper than 970... about to release at 199$

i5 K series CPU and overclock that bitch.

Pirate windows, buy SSD for windows drive instead

it was behind the desk, she was swiffering behind it, i guess the swiffer must have pulled the cable from behind the desk, i dont know, all i heard was a crash.

Get an SSD for OS drive!
Get an SSD for OS drive, seriously!
Get an SSD for OS drive!
Get an SSD for OS drive, seriously!
Get an SSD for OS drive!
Get an SSD for OS drive!
Get an SSD for OS drive!
Get an SSD for OS drive!
Get an SSD for OS drive, seriously!
Get an SSD for OS drive!

Did she break anything?

I've heard it takes like a year for the founders edition to be gone
Graphics performance would be almost doubled though so I guess it's worth the extra money

> Comparable to R9 390
R9 390 is horseshit my dude
What SSD do you suggest?

yeah, tore the hdmi out of the gpu.

recommend me one nigga x

Ok, that's weird. I'll hold judgement.

Shit, responded to myself.

Samsung 850 evo 250gb

>buy 100gb ssd for os only
>install win 7
>never use os drive for storage
>2gb free

how does a pirated windows 7 runs ?

Thanks! seems pretty decent

Your porn history gets registered by the NSA and every 5 hours this song plays in the background: youtube.com/watch?v=tws6R26H8WY

yea definitely you're getting titan x performance for under 400 bucks thats an amazing deal. if you're looking for a good ssd get an nvme m.2 drive if you're motherboard supports it.

Seems like a logical choice. If you want someone to be a suicide bomber, a retard is a good bet. Retards aren't much value to society, and are usually a burden, so it makes sense to strap bombs to them. Imagine if they were hooking explosives to hot babes or top scientists with PHDs. Now THAT would be a waste.

choose an i5 instead of an i7.
get Kingston instead of shitty gskill
smaller power supply, the 970 doesn't need that large of a power supply
I'd also recommend a western digital instead of a Seagate because Seagate hd's suck balls and always fail.

you could probably also find an msi motherboard that would be just as good as the asus you chose for a bit cheaper.

FYI computer tech here.

also forgot to add. stick with the factory cooler. Intel doesn't spend hundreds of millions of dollars on R&D to provide an inadequate factory cooler. As long as you keep the dust out of it, it will work just fine.

/thread

wow....
In my country, I simply used a business number and bought the parts wholesale

Just use linux (I suggest ubuntu).my laptop has ubuntu and my desktop has windows and honestly windows isn't really much better.

I always thought MSI was way overpriced and I chose gskill because it's pretty cheap
What would be the ideal kind of wattage for the PSU? I figured 750W would give me some room if I decided to upgrade the components in the following years

Teach me your ways, master Maguku

intel is far superior to amd however if your goal is to save money do choose AMD cpu and video card. You could easily shave $200$300 off your total build price.

Gtx 1080

I'm not a millionaire nigga

The gtx970 requires 500watts with 28amps. I usually use a corsair 600 for my builds at my shop and have no issues.

so if you chose to do an sli setup you'd want a 1000wt power supply minimal. Just an fyi for "future proofing"

< how fucking stupid. it is 20016 and you are not playing wii u with all the zelda games,. shit my pants

you do not need 1000w to sli 970's thats overkill

Ill probably get the GTX 1070 though so 750W would be good, right?

My WII is the centrepiece in my dorm room nigga

nice trips

the gtx1080 requires 600 42 amps. so yeah, if you're going to get that then go with the 750

yeah ok jr. have fun going through power supplies and or video cards.

GeForce GTX Titan X - 38A and a 600W PSU minimum
GeForce GTX 980ti - 38A and a 600W PSU minimum
GeForce GTX 980 - 30A and a 500W PSU minimum
GeForce GTX 970 - 28A and a 500W PSU minimum
GeForce GTX 960 - 20A and a 400W PSU minimum
GeForce GTX TITAN Z - 42A and a 700W PSU minimum
GeForce GTX TITAN Black - 42A and a 600W PSU minimum
GeForce GTX TITAN - 38A and a 600W PSU minimum
GeForce GTX 780ti - 42A and a 600W PSU minimum
GeForce GTX 780 - 42A and a 600W PSU minimum
GeForce GTX 770 - 42A and a 600W PSU minimum
GeForce GTX 760 - 30A and a 500W PSU minimum
GeForce GTX 750ti - 20A and a 400W PSU minimum
GeForce GTX 750 - 20A and a 400W PSU minimum

the gtx 1070 draws about 150w at full load so if you do not plan on going with an sli setup 750 is a bit overkill and you could save some money by going with a less powerfull psu. if you get a board partner card with an extra 6 pin add an extra 75 watts to that

NOT, nice try though
