How much drugs to do you take

you mean, like taking drugs from the hospital? None, waayy too risky. They're easy enough to get on the streets

What field did you go into? I want to be a neurologist but it looks hard.

Family Med. It's chill. Lots of jobs. Inpatient, outpatient, urgent care, whatever you want to do.

Yes. neurologists work pretty damn hard. Imagine being on call and having to consult every stroke that comes in the ED

I know you are not a dentist but i just chipped off half a tooth. what do?

Do you care about your looks? Go to the emergency room. They'll call in a dentist to work on your shit

Do you not care about your looks? put the chipped part in the fridge and wait in the morning to call your dentist, he might do something, he might not.

Or just fuck it.

If this isn't b8, how's the pay?

Also what country/area of country do you work in?

I'm in residency, so only about 55k/year

that could shoot up anywhere from 150k to 300k depending where I go afterwards

the farther away you go from big cities, the more money you make

America. West coast

Do you know of / suspect other doctors take advantage of anesthetized patients?

There's usually a bunch of nurses and other staff around when a person is knocked out, so unless EVERYBODY in the room is cool with rape, it wouldn't happen

Dentist offices, maybe.

It's scary that b tards are physicians taking care of families and children...

Any difference on the east coast or in canada?

Also, how much money would one make practicing around the suburbs?

top.kek

I dont think so. I dunno about Canada.

You'd make decent money in the suburbs. Depends on what you're doing, inpatient, outpatient, etc

Rural > burbs > city

How big are the differences in pay when comparing rural/burbs/urbs?

Also how high of a GPA did you need to enter medschool?

How long have you been doctoring?

Why did you decide to be a doctor?

About to start medical school in 1 month. Advice?

Sup Forums provides catharsis in a life where you spend every hour working on looking super smart, compassionate, and professional. Kind of like how the doctor who pioneered electrocardiogram reading turned out to be a huge cokehead and pedo in his other life

I have a legit fucked up toenail and it keeps getting infected and growing back more fucked up. What can i tell the doctor to get them to fully remove it.
TL:DR toenail grows back and takes $100/month to get it cut out.

I fucked this slut raw last night showered then wiped dick with germ x does that combat stds

I work in HR for one of the large medical companies. Highest salaries I've seen for a physician is $350 per hour for a chief dermatologist of a hospital. Rest of the specialist typically make around 200-250 per hour.

Seems fucking easy street compared to neurology.

rural: 300-400
burbs: 200's
urbs: 150's - 200

American med school: over 3.5 at least
Caribbean: doesn't matter from what I hear

Only a year. I wanted to be a doc because being the guy that makes a difference in people's health sounded pretty rad, the job security, the pay potential, plus it gives you a relatively prestigious position in society,

It is probable that you wont be the smartest person in class anymore, no matter how hard you study. Just do your best, and don;t worry about what others are doing

That's kinda tough. Our big thing is "first, do no harm". You'd be asking a doctor to damage your nail plexus so you could get out of paying $100/month

I would ask to be referred to a dermatologist, who will then grill you about you REALLY wanting this to be done, and that you're in sound mind, and then he'll just spray your nail plexus with liquid nitrogen for 30 seconds

It probably killed what was on the outside, but if she had a virus it would have gone through your skin and infected some cells before you even nutted

I got a rotten tooth and a big lump in my palate, probably inflammation and it hurts like hell, what do?

The reason i ask is because it gets really infected and it swells and because i wear heavy work boots i cant work. So i have come really close to removing the toe myself.
No shit my toe was almost double the size once and i couldnt even walk.

call your dentist in the morning. Consider flossing more

Do you have the beetus? Might be a different story then

How do I make my junk look fatter and more juicey

Also how do I determine if a doctor is good/actually cares about their patients?

Please for the love of god tell me your not in washington

No i dont have the beetus thats why i really want it removed.

Penis transplant

If a doctor is good: he'll know all the latest evidence based stuff
I care about certain patients more than others. It depends on my interactions with them. Patients that go in demanding dumb labwork and antibiotics and have no respect for your medical knowledge, I could'nt give a shit about. Especially anti-vaxers. I would just do enough to not get sued or hurt the patient

No, why?

Then I would ask for a referral to a podiatrist or something. I don't know for sure why your doctor wants to preserve your toe. Maybe he thinks there's nothing wrong with your toe and all you need to wear is better shoes. I don't know.

How much does an orchiectomy cost assuming the patient is a trans girl thats been on hrt over a year?

How prestigious a medical school did you go to?

MD or DO?

I have kyphosis and it severely depresses me because of the way it looks. What can I do, exercises, therapy, etc, that could potentially help fix it?

>Getting medical advice from Sup Forums
Whatever.
So like about a month and a half ago I fell down an 18 ft hill and hyper extended my knee doing so. I did RICE and all which made the swelling go down but it still hurts like a bitch and gets stiff very easily. Not sure if that' normal? I'd like at least a little advice on what to do to help it.

Canadian, not Caribbean.

lol Idk

somewhat prestigious. Like, top 25 I guess
MD

Have you been to Physical Therapy? Some specialize in that shit. I have kyphosis too. Yoga is working for me

You probably tore a ligament. Keep doing RICE and get yourself an MRI, you might need surgery

Some residency programs in America look to Caribbean medical schools for applicants. For some reason Carribbean medical graduates have an easier time than other foriegn grads with getting to residency. If you're Canadian and have shit grades but want to practice in America, I would go to a Caribbean school

Which state on the west coast?

See this in 19yo patient, what do?

I had cancer and want to become a doctor now, how do I milk the fuck out of having cancer to help get in, or would that hurt me.

So how many nurse blowjobs do you get in an average month?

>tfw pediatricianfag

I like my job but I've always wondered what it'd be like to work in other fields. I have a lot of positive experiences, but over scheduling is a fucking killer. I can't imagine it'll be much better when I'm older.

give him Ativan or Olanzapine, get a urine cause he prob dipped into sum shit

My left side hurts. Specifically when I breathe in deeply.
I also abuse heroin.
Concern or nah?

Not op, could be a hole in your lung.

It's much lower than my lungs. I snort my heroin.
It's in my side, near my appendix
>inb4 appendicitis - doesn't hurt that bad

Had been in ICU for 2 days following a shunt revision, no prior drug use.

What do you actually do? Is the pay worth shitty kids?

he just went into vtach all of a sudden? whats the context?

what kind of cancer? and are you in remission?

none because im beta as fuck. Alot of my colleagues smash nurse puss on a regular basic though

Do you do inpatient or outpatient? The peds hospitalists where I work only do like five 24 hour shifts a month, and that's it.

trouble breathing? im worried about your lung

nigga your appendix is on the right

If it was anything like my school there's really nothing to sweat for the first 2 years since you won't encounter anything as bad as the MCAT.

Once Step 1 gets close be prepared to really start doing work.

>what kind of cancer? and are you in remission?
bladder, it was removed but it may come back

is pediatrics about fondling kids for ball tumours and getting paid for it

How can I stop a postnasal drip?? its driving me crazy

Should I go for uldum or gyjal when I dinged 80?

Is there a way to I can convince a doctor to do a risky procedure?

Like can we sign a contract/waiver where I can't sue him or something?

My pelvis and hips are fucked with osteonecrosis and every time I suggest shit like partial pelvis replacements coupled AND hip replacements at the same time they go noooooooope. Too risky.

But I have read about that exact procedure being done in the UK/South Africa.

Oh well. Time to do more heroin
Cheers

My ass is leaking. No trolling. I'm just carrying on normally through my day and suddenly I feel some itch in my butt, I go to the WC and when i clean it with some TP, its dirty. Happens 2 or 3 times each day. I already took some antiworms and antiparasites meds, but the problem remains. I have no injury in my asshole that I know of. I don't want to go to the hospital, shit is kinda embarrasing. What could it be?

THIS

Awwwww you can be beta and be a doctor :'(

I always wanted to be a doctor, but didn't because I was an antisocial quiet weirdo and I assumed I would fail based on that alone despite straight a's in high school/undergrad and high test scores...

>
Not op again, use a nasal wash like this
amazon.com/Sinus-Rinse-Regular-Mixture-Packets/dp/B000GG5OU4/

I got this too, bumpin for answer

Eat more fiber, do less butt stuff.

Not op again
Go to a different ortho doctor, usually they like doing procedures because that's where they make their money

I'm stuck doing outpatient for now, dunno if I plan on staying here though. The scheduling is less of an hours issue and more of a "fuck you, you have 30 checkups/appointments this hour" issue. I can't even rush because I have to be thorough, so everyone just ends up pissed.

If you are going into peds to just do that, you probably won't have the work ethic to even make it into medical school, let alone complete medical school and do residency.

just become a preist

I'll do the fiber thing, although I'm not putting anything in my butt, neither I had.

Context being the patient just had a shunt revision. Initially just tachy with BP all over, then PVC's, progressing to couplets. However, hr would be stable for 30-60mins before episodes, rinse and repeat. During sleep, bp would drop to 56/30.

uhh...I'd call cardiology. Get that crash cart ready too

put that shit in your personal statement. Like, start the first sentence with something like
>"You have cancer", my doctor told me. My heart sank. blah blah blah you get the idea

.....yes

Allegra

Nah, even with consent he'd still be liable if something fucked up happened.

Anal leakage. New diet? New meds?

Yeah but I'm kind of an anomaly. Most doctors I know are these confident normalfags with girlfriends/wives and shit.

that sucks. Are you considering inpatient? I for one love inpatient and can't fathom why someone would want to do clinic

>56/30

is cardiology on board? this nigger is 19 you said? crazy

You're not alone user, irritating as fuck! I carry flushable wipes in my backpack to reduce the itching a little. Ugh.

Why did you post a comic that's impossible? If the mum is white all mixed race babies are born white. the skin darkens later

I have been to several.

One told me that my shit was so fucked up that nothing he could do would fix it probably, so it would be way to much liability for him.

Another told me the bone was so thin there was nothing to hook anything to, which is why I suggest pelvis replacement to hook the hip replacements to... He likewise said too risky.

Third did all kinds of 3d scans and shit, said he couldn't do normal hip placements. When I suggested the pelvis replacement he said he doesn't do anything experimental.

...

I got anal leakage too it seems, Had it since senior high i think, so i dont think it has anything to do with new meds or new diet, as it has been constant happening....

Going to study this career. Any cool advice?

Pediatric exams are mostly to ensure proper development, though they do include every part of the body. Physicals are more so for health concerns. Physicals are less intense, but both are pretty thorough. We also do general shit like checkups, shots, and more. It's not all just ball fondling.

How fucked up are Electronic Medical records in your field. They drove my dad to retire as he felt he was spending more time with the computer than the patient. Is it the same with you?

Cardiology is onboard, as is nuerosurgery, Neuro, critical care, and hematology. I'll give you a hint, the shunt revision was a conversion from a VP to a VA. Echo was performed and patient went into a 7 beat vtach during the echo when looking left at the screen. Patient is female, if curious.

>Anal leakage. New diet? New meds?

Nope, same diet, no new meds. My diet is not bad, pretty much homemade dinner and plenty of water, but my eating schedule is a complete mess (Breakfast at 1pm or not at all, for example)

Alright OP I got jock itch from the shower rooms at my local gym. I have been going through Tinactin so fast it is draining my funds. Is there anything else I can use to get ride of this fucking ball itch?

I'm qualified for both, but I'm stuck here for whatever reasons. I don't mind so much because I'm assigned to kids already and I know it can be tough switching doctors.

Try going to a teaching hospital, they are more likely to do risky/new stuff.

what do you do in your free time?

I got a wound on my back a few weeks ago, dunno how, i scratched my back one day and it was there.. Its growing and spreading to other parts of my back, and small part of my chin, it discharges liquid, as proven by t-shirts and bed sheets, itches some, not too much.. The wound has healed in the middle(original spot) but it keeps on spreading.... Do i have skin eating termites in my bed or am i a shapeshifter doc?

Should I get this looked at?

Who let the dogs out?

so i guess your class rank probably wasn't too high? what number down your rank list did you match? did you intend to be an FP or did you have to scramble?

I'm sorry for you user. It shouldn't be so hard to get help. All the best!

how do I get a nigger sized dick without being black?

You need to get that shit drained, disinfected, and wrapped up. It'll just keep getting worse if you don't.

Do you have red lines that look like veins?

I'm going to go get a diagnosis soon if I feel it's becoming a real problem, but I suppose I'll bite.

Over the last week I've developed this problem, where I've become extremely dehydrated and I'm drinking 2-3 gallons of water a day, and urinating every ten minutes or so. If I drink any less I quickly become extremely thirsty, my mouth dries out, and it becomes hard to swallow. Should I be concerned?

yea but the drop-out rate at most caribbean schools is crazy high and it is getting increasingly difficult to match at a decent american residency. i don't think it's quite the loophole it used to be

Iv picked it clean, disinfected it and wrapped it up like no wound before, but it still gets worse

GO TO THE DOCTOR TOMORROW WTF

Do you fondle girls balls too?

Lurking

nope tried those...none of these work...thats why I said Im really going crazy here ...its like waterfalls down my throat :(

Its on my back so i havent been able to study it properly, but i dont think so.. Although i did feel a slight lump a few days ago

Sounds like you have Diabetes.
Could It Be Diabetes?
Thirst you can’t seem to quench is one symptom of diabetes, a disease in which your body doesn’t make enough of the hormone insulin or doesn’t use it properly. It causes too much sugar (called glucose) to build up in your body. Too much of it in your urine draws in more water, so you pee more often. That leaves your body wanting to replace the fluid you’re losing.

Along with thirst and more visits to the restroom, other symptoms of diabetes include:

Blurred vision
Feeling very tired
Hunger
Cuts and bruises that are slow to heal
Could It Be Diabetes Insipidus?
Despite its name, this condition isn’t related to diabetes. It happens when your body doesn’t make enough of a hormone that helps your kidneys control the amount of water in your body. Excessive thirst is one of the major symptoms.
If you have diabetes insipidus, you may also have:

Dehydration
The urge to pee often
