damn.

32F/0C

...

Today was the first day of summer.

i swear these last couple years have been ridiculous

last weekend it was -20 and this weekend it'll be 40

u dick

>ridiculous
>last weekend it was -20 and this weekend it'll be 40

yeah bitch. a 60 degree difference in 7 days is ridiculous

Fucking +2°C. Winter was already here, but then it had to go warm again.

iktf

I hate heat though...

-2C/29F

>not liking heat
>living in brazil

sucks

I saw some snow outside so I guess climate warming is dissproven now.

That's nice of you, thanks.

+3 °C

1°C / 34°F

I've been to Chicago in February and saw some of the biggest snowflakes I've ever seen, me and the gf had a snowball fight around that big fountain near Millennium Park

>tfw living in comfy Bavaria with min. -3C

>me and the gf had a snowball fight around that big fountain near Millennium Park
Stop making me jealous

It was low 30'c (celcius) as it usually is, was 43C yesterday though.. bit hot.

Also for some reason I think that Chicago would be an awesome city to live in, am I wrong?

You're not, as long as you stay out of the south side for the most part.

It was this one actually, I just didn't know what the area was called
We also went ice skating on that rink but I'm shocking at it

what are the locals like?
I get an overall, big but not NY style big, sort of vibe from the place.. and that it'd have a lot of cool bars and things to do.

You're not far off
Downtown has a proper comfy underdog feel to it too
Pizza is arse though, sorry Chicagbro

That's Buckingham Fountain

You're pretty much right on. And yeah there are tons of bars. Sports bars, hipster bars (the one where the Game of Thrones reactions are filmed youtube.com/watch?v=vob2_MSpXQc ), dive bars, spanish bars, etc.

I hope you at least tried Chicago thin crust pizza and not the tourist trap that is deep dish.

I lived in London, any equivalents to give me an idea of the city stylistically?

DEEP DISH PIZZUHHHH

sounds cosy
are people violent though? one thing that's making me regret move back to Australia is how on edge guys here are to get into fights, such a macho need to prove yourself for some reason.. probably because they're all a bunch of gays.

irish pubs, english pubs, music bars, gay bars, comedy bars, etc.

It does get quite comfy, especially in snowy. sunny, or rainy weather. People are mostly only really violent in the south and west sides, the shitty neighborhoods.

Yeah nah, I fucked it
It was like cheese and tomato tart

It feels more "open" than most of London
There's always a big road going through the middle but for the most part you're walking in the shadows of big, individual buildings
There's a nice bridge between Downtown and... Uptown? The poorer bit and the cityish bit, basically

I want to move to the US, but I don't like warm climate, so Chicago looks like a perfect variant. Does it have cool summers too?

Chicago has hot and humid summers and cold winters.

22℃ in the day, and 16℃ now

...

...

...

I'd post some photos I took of Chicago but they're all either on my camera at home or on facebook and I don't wanna get doxxed
I got the one I took from on top of the Willis Tower put on a cushion haha

Did you do the skydeck?

Yeah twice lol
Went first time when it was proper foggy, then we got the Chicago Pass that lets you do all the touristy things and ended up doing it again - way better view the second time

It's fine

Thought you couldn't swim in lake Michigan

Probably around 30C

10°C

Dunno where you heard that. You can drink from it in parts (probably advisable not to near the cities though). Sewage is diverted not into the lake but away to the Mississippi River so it can head on down south anyway.

Foggy weather is top comfy desu but I can see how that would suck when on vacation

*Sears Tower

*Willies Tower

...

>you will never construct it
feels bad

+2 in southern Sweden

I did, it's fucking cold.

>mfw the little museum bit when you first go in that tells you the tower is 238.5 Barack Obamas tall

-46c

But that feels great when it's hot and humid

this

A-at least it's not really windy where the cold bites

yeah well not really if you like to actually swim, but it looks great for a lake, water is very clear.

>yeah well not really if you like to actually swim
Why not? Your body gets used to the cold after a few minutes. It's refreshing to swim in cold water.

yeah nah it doesn't really work like that, taking a dip for 5 mintues in cold water is one thing, swimming for 35/45 minutes in cold water is not great, once you lose all heat you just can't move the same way.

Still, I took a bath in Lake Michigan in May and the snow melted not that much earlier, so it's probably still in the very cold phase.

18℃ middle of Japan
oh…

Oh well yeah, it can still be cold outside in May, let alone the lake water, that must have been why.

13 C° right now, it was 21 yesterday and 5 2 days ago

>lake freezes
>ice breaks up into many flakes
>the lake refreezes and the flakes retain their shapes

I love it when that happens.

+3 degrees right now

>temperature below -10 in most o country
>20cm of snow
>people looses their minds
>almost apocalypse
Why people keep their believes of frozen Poland??

me hiding under the blanket next to qt animay bum

I didn't see any sunlight for more then a month

comfy here

High of 55F today. 71F with thunderstorms on Christmas day. This global warming shit is rad.

how the fuck can be a city be so cold
like
what the fuck

why do you even live there bitch

It's 21.1°C right now at 11:30 pm.

Between 0 and 10°C

WHERE IS MY WHITE CHRISTMAS !

When does Florida get in line with the rest of the States?

>ºF

Why does Chicago always get ridiculous winters?

kill yourselves

>going near a road in that

do you ever see people walking outside in shorts or shorts and tshirt

how else are they gonna produce something so crucial to their GDP like the dashcam videos

I've never seen that happen :(

not the op but summers usually quite hot there.

>Walking outside in shorts or shorts and tshirt.
Yep, this summer was really hot and rainy in Surgut, about +25-30c in august.

I mean in winter

Siberia gets both extreme winters and extreme summers.
Some places get to -50 in winter, some to +50 in summer and yearly temperature ranges of 60-70 degrees in one location are quite common.

do it

everyone will think you're brave and you might even get a qt gf after dem cold resistance stats

That's absolute bullshit. I live in Chicago and this past weekend it wasn't nearly as cold. It was like -2 or -3 in the morning.

No thanks, i don't wanna commit suicide right now.

Looking good.

Also it's like 35 fahrenheit now

it's 18 degrees now
2am
I can't sleep
I'm completely naked lying on my bed covered in sweat
all my windows are open
I have a fan

how are you even alive
