ITT: Secretly patrician albums

This album is amazing, I couldnt believe the quality all the way through the first time I listened to it. And the worst song was the one which got famous, go figure.
>Just What I Needed is the worst song
I love the album but what are you on?
Can we all at least agree that My Best Friend's Girl is the best song on here?

I don't know if it's secret or not. Steely Dan always seems to get mixed reviews from people. This album is killer and the list of studio musicians is very impressive.

if the mastering on this album wasnt shit, it wouldve been 100x better
All Talking Head's solo stuff is underrated, but especially this.
If you can't deal with the instrumentals, listen to the vinyl version which mainly has the vocal tracks.
...but don't tell anyone, it's technically popshit
...
...
idk after hearing it in commercials for years i can't listen to it and i skip it
it's a fine song but due to the context i can't listen to it therefore its objectively the worst
Do those artists have more than one song?
Great album
...
...
Royals is arguably the weakest song on the album
yep
...
Fave song on it? I'm a particularly big fan of A World Alone more so than any other
wait, this is patrician? I have an original vinyl sitting somewhere from my mom's collection, and I've never listened to it. what the fuck.
I've been listening to Candy-O a lot lately and I'm starting to think it's better. I'm gonna have to re-listen to the s/t soon.
I also love this album. Probably the pinnacle of pop-punk.
...
Not him, but I love Ribs and White Teeth Teens.
And Tennis Court, but it's popular af.
This.
I thought in stereo was the most famous?
The Modern Lovers are the better band
>secretly
This
kinda reminds me of a shorter Freak Out, I think I like it more than TMR senpai
...
It's no secret. It's inarguably one of the best pop albums of all time
>the solo in Just What I Needed
that's what i'm talkin about
Candy-O is just a little better.
youtube.com
this is my favorite cars song
...
...
>tfw the solo in Just What I Needed is literally Just What I Needed
Listened to this last week. Wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised.
Curious as to what others think of it though.

What's the best Cars song and why is it Since You're Gone?
Agree completely
Then it would surpass Sea When Absent in every way
anyone have a mega for this? link in the archive is dead
ITT: contrarians.
It's pretty good although I think it's a relatively happy album and she does her best work while sad.
This is universally acclaimed.
it's You Might Think
>Steely Dan always seems to get mixed reviews from people
hmm
>Candy-O
>Bye Bye Love
>Since I Held You
>You Can't Hold On Too Long
>Don't Cha Stop
At least, I hope it's no secret how patrician this album is.
Easily one of my top 10
IMO either Moving In Stereo or All Mixed Up is best
Yah
Not really a secret desu
yep
