That's called grass is always greener on the other side. Also, socialist looking parts of the city really bring it down. It's an uncomfortable mix of god tier Austro-Hungary and socialism.

because concrete blocks are the opposite of comfy, they look far too utilitarian and gloomy and those wide empty areas
at least the barrios i've been to in South America look semi-comfy with the small houses, narrow streets and brightly painted wood/brick/plaster combo
