Scholomance.. before they ruined it. The music in particular.

This

Your garrison lol jk wow sucks now
Rip nostalrius never forget

Get out with that normie shit.

Since the very first time I played WoW back in Vanilla, Elwynn Forest has been my favorite zone, it's peaceful, calming, and relaxing. To this day it remains my favorite place in the game. The music and the zone it's self is very nostalgic for me. I'd LIVE there if I could. When Garrisons were first announced, I was hoping you could out them in any zone you wanted, I would have put mine in Elwynn Forest.

Booty bay on sundays

Old school Tanaris at night
Also good
just noticed that last night, friend playing on vanilla PS, and I had to double take, as I never remembered it looking/sounding/feeling so nice, so legit deathly

There are bears and wolves everywhere and bandits who want to cut you.

all good but this has a special place in my heart

That would have been a good way to make garrisons not shit. God damnit blizzard, why must you ruin everything. At least make it something more akin to a shop so the main cities are not dead.

In certain parts of the zone, yes. There is. I generally hang out where there isn't. There are very peaceful spots in Elwynn if you know where to look. (And no, I'm not talking about PORNshire either).

God, dwarf and gnome leveling zone took for fuckin ever but it was such a nice place, especially the first little hub/forge/inn

Everything about this place always relaxed me. Never cared what super city they patched into the game, chilled here in between instances and battlegrounds all the time.

Alliance scum.

HORDE SCUM!! I wipe my asshole with the Horde banner!

...

...

you fucked up, it's horde scum, alliance dog.

>when you recognize some of the people

...

so much nestaga.. my first character was a tauren

futa corner is the coziest

...

Meh been thinking of playing again.. although I don't really have the interest anymore. I do have 3 month tokens and then I got two accounts for free from the movie.. I could make so much gold but then I'd have to sell it D:

I've seen that Dwarf priest on the table so many times and his very name sets me off, Thor Odinson or something, i hope he's not taking himself seriously.

>run for 4 hours to get to and from a single quest
>nothing but empty green a long the way

No thanks, only barrens was worse

Wouldn't be bad if I found a bottom, but no one likes males.

I noticed nobody posted Moonglade, so here.

Used to just idle here for the ambient music

I wipe my asshole with your mother's tongue.

FOR THE HORDE!!!!

Who /brilltavern/ here?

The trick is to lure someone in by playing a futa, hook them with your sikh/10 erp skills so they're in for longterm and ask if they'd be interested in a scene with a male character, if they turn you down well... You probably only wasted about 2 days minimum.

I've this downloaded, it's nice to sleep to on hot-ish nights. fits the feel.

Silvermoon is best

Was always way too green for me, looking at the lake hurt my eyes so bad.

what kind of faggot do u have to be to describe a virtual online fantasy space as "comfy"? please kill yourself

I love the Blood Elf feel of buildings and especially their ambient music, I just hate most of the players who are Blood Elves with a raging passion.

i always thought this city was underrated. it was constantly empty on my server

I went in a deep depression cycle in 2008 and logged about 500 hours of this in about 6 months during that period. Then never played again.

Warmth and comfort wash over me like a tidal wave looking at some of these pics.

crystal cave. rip in peace.

ICC is obv the best

Same here (Kel'Thuzad).

Most Blood elf mains are dicks, this is true.
But the cities design is gorgeous, peaceful, great color, everything is 10/10 to me.

Barrens chat was fuckin hilarious

It's pretty empty now adays. It's sad how empty it became after WoTLK and Cata released.

I refuse to ever play a bloodelf, this was a pic i took awhile ago when running some dungeons on an alt of these 3 faggots

I played on Mal'Ganis just for more active Horde cities, but I couldn't stand how fucking toxic everyone was on that server.

No we aren't asshole.
Fucking casual.

Gay, Orcs best race. My Orc rogue named heterogenius for quite a while.

Trolls are the masterrace.

Yes, yes you are. You chose horde and played the most human race. Doesnt matter how many times yall claim it was the racials: it wasnt

Nah man, trolls have shit animations and the orc and troll dps meters in relation to rogue are pretty much the exact same with orc winning out a bit more in sub and troll in combat

Someone convince me to get a sub, it's been too long since I played

>most human race
Um...elves. Not human.

>Virgins

I quite regularly like to just slowly walk through a lot of zones, soaking up them cozy feels. Howling Fjord is one of my favorite places of all time though, the feeling of sailing in Alliance side between those sheer cliffs into Daggercap Bay, that impaled ship hung with chains as you maneuvered your way towards Utgarde Pinnacle... Shiiit.

Here's something i'll say though that i'll get hated for, I never really liked Nagrand, too lush for me.

/thread

I understand they are not, but they look the most human. That is the single reason most blood elves choose blood elves: to play a sexy elf girl

Depending on when you quit the game/world is quite different. You'll never get back into like you did before, but having a sub will let you satisfy that nostalgic craving. Also if you just farm it's basically free to play now (~40k gold for 1month game time)

Howling Fjord's atmosphere was top tier.

>still playing wow
>not vanilla private server
cant wait til school starts back up again

Impossible, unless somehow Legion tops Wotlk AND BC, there is no way I could get back into it like I was.

id rather convince you to save your time and money user. dont do it.

where the hell is that?

I love trolls because of the animations, everything they do they're so lax and look like they couldn't give less of a shit.

Dont get me wrong, I like how trolls look but the attack animation is pretty atrocious, as well as the walk. The dance is on point though.

I got into rp in game, which as lame as it seems it kind of gives the game no end? Sort of, make your own quests with friends and companions, that sort of thing. It's one way to stay interested.

marshall's refuge, ungoro crater

Well, my main is a troll mage so i dont see a whole lot of the attack animation.

cave at marshall's refuge in un'goro.

it's shitty now, there's faggoty stone golems in there.

Fuuuuuuuccckk, user.

First time I played this shit I was a tauren druid. Back in like '04. Thunder Bluff has some serious fucking nostalgia for me. I think I'm going to go play a private server. Does anyone have any good recommendations? My favorite expac was BC.

Just as long as you dont fall into the trap I did: I found myself rping a marriage with someone who was probably a dude and finally realized what I was doing. There used to be a house up on a plateau above the waterfall west of stormwind, there my bride and I stayed since we were horde and could not be in goldshire.

Do you know the name of the PS?

Does WoW really still look this shitty?

As of right now there aren't many good private servers that were on the same level as Nos, especially for BC for some reason.

Old zones do, the warlords zones have updated graphics though.

Still is a house up there pretty sure, and rp is kind of just a slippery slope that you either roll with or eventually force yourself off the side when you slip too far. That's usually the stage where you don't come back.

join me friend

kronos-wow.com

Gotcha, before I quit just before cata, I had a troll rogue then when I started back up in warlords I switched to undead, then to orc and was happy with orc. I quit once again and am not even sure Im gonna play when legion comes out because of how ridiculously menial the game is. Being able to 20 man archimond with a pub is just insane stupid, not to mention it was heroic difficulty. Sure we were all 715ilvl and up but come on.

You sure like that name.

Is that the house with the sheep herder?

It was actually a bomb ass little place. Nobody went up there and there was one super low npc. Had a dock and shit to hang out on and you could go into the house, it had a fireplace too.

Ya

I still play it but i just level alts to burn time, whenever im luckey though i get a buddy from my guild online every one and awhile and it almost feels like vanilla when you had to pretty much level with friends or were fucked.

Lol i did the same shit, i would sit up there all the time with my friends

u recognize me?

Below that house there was like a fork in the river and some little tent with a campfire pretty sure, i'd always be chilling down there. Comfy.

Those were good fuckin times. I remember having a blood elf, like a fuckin normie, and leveling with a guy named Grizz.

This nostalgia is about the work, user. Having to trek through that beautiful, serene landscape for little reward. And not even realizing the real reward was that magical feeling you would never forget of traversing such beautiful terrain as a cow that could shapeshift into a bear and then into a cat. Twas truly one of my finest moments in gaming history.. and I've played a lot of games. I fucking was so excited when I got swim form. Then travel form! Jesus. Back when that shit was a viable means of transportation. Having to trek from city to city. God I wish they had never added flying mounts. The immersion was the game. No one wants an immersive experience anymore...

see

Now there is no point going anywhere you cant port to and from.

Spent so much time in goldshire, Tiris Fall glades a close second

I was never happier than when flying mounts were added, i was so sick of running up and down the same paths through the shitty layouts of the city, being able to just fly around TB is so mich better than navigating the maze of org.
