Michigan state

How many days are we away now?

what game are you guys going to this year
Me: Northwestern @ Minnesota
Illinois @ Michigan
HOPEFULLY Illinois @ Northwestern just gotta see if I can get off work

I'm going to OP's game, App @ Tennessee.

67 days.

66 if you count the meme game in Australia

inb4 shitty Michigan pasta

Bumping with the proposed G6 expansion & realignment

forgot logos

what am i looking at here

...

...

Michigan should offer that deal again

...

Not too bad. I would try to split up the MAC a little more if I could since they will likely dominate the G6, Maybe put BGSU and Toledo into a seperate conference

Is Neyland the comfiest stadium in CFB?

...

...

this one is the most appealing imo.

lots of rivalries here across multiple sports

>NDSU and Montana in FBS, in the same conference

I came.

reminder that an 8 team playoff with each Power Conference champ plus 3 at-large is the best format possible.

The power gap between 4 and 5 was huge then and it will always be huge. 4 more teams is totally unneccessary

bullshit.

people act as if
>"muh top 4"
are somehow godlike and invulnerable.

Ohio State lost to unranked Virginia Tech that year.

Bama lost to Ole Miss

Oregon lost to Arizona

>totally unnecessary
you think if an 8 team playoff happened every year, a #5 would NEVER beat a #4?

I want two more teams; give 1 and 2 a rest, you know 5 and 6 would want to participate

that and honestly the players need to be able to collectively bargain and have some say in these talks, even if there's no salaries involved

No
Too many games
Both for the players and the fans

=( I killed the /cfb/ thread with my real talk

Ahhh...
Safe

Messiah will win one for da EL

>VOTE FOR G5 BLOOBLOODS

strawpoll.de/be4bg93

nice trips.

tough to have the players bargain and have say when there is 100% turnover every four years.

template.

go.

rookie contract in NFL is 4 year max, right

>all these americans watching our shit sport

but why?

............I see what you did there

>implying it won't be 4 of the same 8 teams that are in the natty every year

>implying P5 is interesting, fresh or exciting

>Bama
>Ohio State
>Clemson
>Florida State
>LSU
>USC
>Oklahoma

it's getting old. expand playoffs when?

sure but there isn't 100% (or even close to it) turnover in the NFL every 4 years.

Most of the NFLPA leadership has 10+ years in the NFL

>It's a "your team goes 6-6 and your coach gets fired" episode

well yeah but unions hold seniority in high regard that's not specific to the NFLPA

btw ever read it?

>team doesn't win their own conference
>should have a chance to win the nation

I don't

You have a shit team then cuck

6 team playoff when?

hi

I wish it could be arbitrary. 6 would be best in 2014 where the logical cutoff was after the 6 conference champs/co-champs. 4 was obviously the best last year. If the Pac-12 ever stops eating itself 5 may be good one year.

8 is never logical though and there has never been a year it was necessary.

canadian football
college football

sup

apehoop is a different sport tyrone

Hola

eh

Aaaand no team has ever won the Super Bowl without winning their conference, mongoloid. Way to prove his point.

>College football is known and loved for having upsets

>Fedoras think there isn't enough competition for 8 teams

yeah ok /cfb/

same here no conferences

>implying NFL divisions aren't analogous to CFB conferences

>implying the AFCCG and NFCCG aren't just semifinal games

>implying you've graduated middle school

name another NCAA championship in which you cannot win the National Championship unless you've won your conference.

name another NCAA championship that doesn't exist

what?

In that case the majority of games played would be out of conference, by a lot. Only 25% games are played out of conference in cfb, and usually no more than one of them means anything, if that.

>Division I FBS football is the only National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) sport for which the NCAA does not sanction a yearly championship event. As such, it is sometimes unofficially referred to as a "mythical national championship".[1][2][3][4]

>you

...

I kind of feel like UNC's is iconic

>an M is iconic
>an R is kill it with fire

>a block W is aesthetic

>a block M is kill it with fire

also, florida state's logo is iconic if only because it's the only Native American logo that doesn't cause shitstorms

>green S is average

>orange S is boring

>red S with tree is Aesthetic

Friendly reminder that Alabama will finish 15 - 0.

First of all, people don't actually like upsets
That's the biggest myth of them all

Second, that wouldn't really be an upset that people would care about

ALL HAIL /CFB/

people wouldn't like Boise State upsetting Bama?

people wouldn't care about it?

this has been a nice thread so far.

no trips or namefags as of yet.

Arkansas State could be fun, or maybe Air Force

The 6 teams receiving the fewest blooblood votes will be
ELIMINATED

not looking good for those CUSA schools

days.to/until/ncaa-season

>realignment

Here's your actual reality, Sup Forums. It's gonna be a few years, and one of these teams who you don't even know today, is gonna win 10 either this year or next.

Any of you guys ever do NCAA 14 dynasty on 360? I think it would be pretty cool to get a bunch of guys together and play it with updated rosters.

Yeah all of those losses were flukes.
why would you open the door for more flukes?

>FIU is Miami, the southern most part of Florida
>FAU is north of FIU
>No UCF
>USF all that territory

Lel

I'd take Clemson out of Iconic
Oregon to boring tier
Add USC to iconic
Promote Rutgers to Average
Put Arizona in aesthetic
Downgrade Arizona State to you tried

...

Untrue, and a little hurtful.

>Saban
>finishing undefeated
>more than once

you know what's coming to you, just like every year

FSU just rebranded their logo, it's not iconic

>people don't actually like upsets
m8 this brings me to tears and I don't care about either team

youtube.com/watch?v=q5JPeJnRi6s

>doesn't cause shitstorms
it did ten years ago but real life semen holes actually like it

...

>user, stop it! you're making me blush

>LEL ONLY TEAMS GOOD IN 2015 ARE WORTH A SHIT

Preparing to reset your limited hard-drive in about six months.

I don't recall any team he didn't circle ever being worth a shit.

>ever

That's a long time. UNT had 4 conference titles in a row 2001-04, Rice has a CUSA title as recently as 2013, UTEP has a national title in basketball, FAU was also a conference winner and has just finished rebuilding.

But you'd know all that if you follow the conference, in addition to how UAB is gonna give USM a run for its money in 2017.

You fucking casual.

he said cfb

Should be okay to get assistance from other sports. The logos aren't football logos, they're logos for the school's teams in general.

...

>you'd know all that if you follow the conference
and why would I want to do that

...

sorry your shitty team isn't circled, friend.

you're probably the North Texas namefag.

enjoy your 2 wins this season.
