Little marijuana, just a few Vicodin
Only reefer surfin' out here while I'm driving
Where your registration, OG license
'Cause of that interior your bitch wanna ride this
Great grand volka dick got low-jack
White hoes calling and they asking where the dope at

What? Whatever
Modern-day Samuel, I roll with that Sinatra
Off a pastor's prayer and we're off like my daka
Listen to the soundtrack, written on maracas
M I A and the joker sent from the Sri Lanka

I divide and conquer, rolling Willy Wonka
Baby momma wanna suck the Don off at the concert
And they gets no pay like Frank Sinatra, bitch
I do this shit my way
Like Frank Sinatra, bitch
Do this shit my way

I didnt like it. I only liked some parts of Since I left you, maybe half of it.

Im not an expert on it because I havent listened to it a lot, maybe a few times, but wildflower isn't energetic for me nor does the songwriting feel anywhere good.

>nor does the songwriting feel anywhere good.
because there is none?

SUNSHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE

enjoyed it when it came out but extremely forgettable especially compared to SILY

6/10

people memed how bad it was but it really wasn't good either.

not as good as sily, but they took a different direction with it, and executed it well, i thought the psychedelic effects and suburban feel were nice, but some of the rap verses(AAAAAAAH) were in pretty bad taste
7.5/10

I really liked it!

Really fucking good man
Ill save my first kiss for "Because I'm me"

I listened to Wildflower before finally listening to SILY and I prefered Wildflower because songs like Colours and Sunshine really stood out while the only song I could remember from sily was the good ol Frontier Psychiatrist.

Guess it was just more accessible, 7/10

Favorite album of the year. I love every single second of it. Personal 10/10 for me

*cringe*

Solid 4/10
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH FRANKIE SINATRA

I THINK I LOVE YOU

WE INAUGURATE THE EVENING

i don't remember much other than Because I'm Me and Saturday Night Inside Out. Those two were really good though/

I like it
SILY - funk
WF - disco

There is still structuring and rhythm when it comes to sampled music, and the Avalanches' feel for structure is what made SILY what it is

light to decent NOT GOOD

9/10 It will always remind me of Summer vacation now.

very outstanding album shame nigger rapping brings it down though

I thought it was interesting. My personal interpretation is that the 'Wildflower' refers to pot, as shown in the song Wildflower. Afterwards, the album becomes more psychedelic.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

>the only song I could remember from sily was the good ol Frontier Psychiatrist
jesus christ

fuck yes, 10/10 song and perfectly captures the feeling of the sun beating down on you

The fact that there is rapping on this LP means I won't be listening to it anytime soon. SILY is a 9 or 10 and it didn't rely on features. Diverting away from their winning formula was a huge mistake. To me, it seemed obvious that they couldn't produce and sample at the same level as they did in 2000, hence piggy-backing off Danny Brown and others.

Also Frankie Sinatra is the worst song I've heard all year.

It's a good "positive vibes" album, probably best enjoyed in the summer months... I liked it a lot more on my first few listens than the last couple, but that might be because I'm in the Northeast US and it's getting colder.

"Harmony" is legitimately one of my favorite tracks of the year. On my first listen, it almost sounded like it was about to kick into old Avalanches again. Not quite, but close. "If I was a Folkstar" and "Sunshine" were also standouts for me.

I didn't mind the rapping, it just felt disconnected from whar I always thought the group should be.

7/10

AOTY

8/10 there were more filler tracks on since i left you desu wildflower had some proper bangers and some calm ones a far more varied album and danny browns features are stellar. the two songs leading up to wozard of iz are amazing this album wont ever not remind me of summer

This and I'm pissed about it.
