I have a question. when I don't know any words of russian, I can't speak russian. I don't speak russian. , which the sentence is more proper?
Connor Thompson

That is more proper
Luke Williams
I don't speak Russian (cause I don't want to)
Jordan Bailey
what kind of situation can I use th phrase "I can't speak russian?" with? Does it needs creed reason, disease reason or so?

Julian Sanchez
depending on context the intended meaning behind these two sentences is the same
>I don't speak Russian feels more general >I can't speak Russian when someone assumes or assert you can
>I don't can be used like this obviously but when someone says it they probably mean they don't know the language ie cannot speak it

I am confused with words involving online games. If I beat a boss in a MMORPG alone, which makes more sense? ソロ or ソロした?
Example: 私はボースをソロした I soloed the boss.
Henry Young
Soon, it will be Christmas in Japan.
All the nihonjins will be gathered around their kotatsus, keeping warm and opening presents.
Zachary Powell
neither. I think 私はソロでボスを倒した sounds natural.
Kevin Long

彼は20分間読んだ。 but what did he read? a book? we usually put object in the sentence.
