The acting is fucking horrendous. It relies on some jump scares and when those fail it just gives up. The only way this is creepy or scarey is if you're a pubescent child or a girl. It's a psychological terror that does nothing at all to try and duck with your mind and the ending is so fucking telegraphed you see it coming 20 minutes in.

I ask because that shot was not supposed to be scary, it's just a person who's already been dead for hours. The scary part in the movie is in the tension and creeping dread felt by the people being followed, not the state of their bodies after they die.

Bigger cousin snuck me into the theater when Blair Which Project (the original one) came out. I was still in single digit years at the time. Movie was terrifying as fuck.
I'd say it's aged fairly well. It keeps to more of an ominous theme more than anything. It's one of those movies where you don't see much. But the mood can still get to your head.
Just a heads-up if you've never seen it.
