Made some homemade CDs that include minds and dream, plus, sin título - uno, as a bonus. They look like shit though, haha.
Did 10, they all sold out. Did 10 more, also sold out.
Going to do 15 more and that's all folks.

Nice beat. You'd like RAMONA, from Kill Bill, it's a really solid album. Your stuff inmediatly reminded me of his. Always see you in BC Threads, but had never listened to your stuff.

I've seen the light, lads. I'm one of those people that post the same album every single time in every one of these threads but I'm NOT DOING IT THIS TIME
My band released a new album this year called Paralimina. Sort of like post-rock, electronica, and video game music thrown into a blender. Got a lot of new material on the way as well.
Hey this was pretty good. I listened to it in the last thread.
I do it just so people remember I still exist so that when I release something new, there's some excitement.

My ham-fisted attempt at house music. How bad is it for my first time using a DAW? I typically do lo-fi stuff on a Portastudio.
i have a question to you guys, do you think that requesting email on downloads put people off?
what dou you think about it?

I just joined this band this year, we're about to do some solid studio recordings, this live album was from a recent gig at a cool local venue. I've been having tons of fun playing with these guys, I always really liked their songs so it's cool they wanted me on board when their original bassist left.
>do you think that requesting email on downloads put people off?
people can just put a fake email so i don't think they'd care. i used to have it on until for some reason bandcamp started asking people for their zip codes so i took it off. it helps people who download get notifications of your latest work so that's good, but people don't like giving out zip codes i think.

I listened to Minds. I didn't like first three tracks too much, but then it gets better. I like the serene atmosphere. More noisy fragments are also nice.

Description:
Eric Taxxon's new album Copy is equivocal to the creation of Frankenstein. A creation made of bits and pieces of other former creations, used to create a deliberate feeling of intrigue, interest, and even in some cases, horror. Copy is that Frankenstein, in which pieces are constructed, produced, and heavily edited in mere audacity files, in order to create one massive being all together.
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And Eric give some love. Thank You. :)

Feedback and critique welcome. I'll be exploring this thread and listening to random stuff.
I like the background vocal samples
if/else has a nice hypnotic build. the wavering sounds at the beginning are really interesting but maybe too clean.
first off.. your album art is fantastic. Mix is good, maybe a little bass cut to let the kick come through more. Unda Maris is nice and has that early Gilmour sound.. maybe the guitar could use some kind of light stereo spatial effect.
that ominous bass would make me wet if I was a girl... the high bit crushed bits are good. The guitar is good but a little muddy...try boosting around 7K and cutting 300-500k to get some clarity.
Someone loves Juno style synth sounds... actually everyone does so well done.
I feel like I am trapped in Animaniacs while on mushrooms.
The sound is well recorded and mixed but the style just isn't for me. I can see how lots of people enjoy it.
I like the sidechained noise but your drums are too high end and missing that low thump. Try grunging them up a bit and heavily compress them, record to a separate track and then mix that in with the dry mix with some automation to create evolving dynamics with the drums.
Liking this a lot. Kind of like if Sigur Ros made bedroom folk.
Not my thing at all. Sounds like every garage jam band in the south.
What the fuck is going on in Poland? Seems to be lots of cool shit being made there.
Not great but not bad. Just not for me.
This I can totally get behind. Just weird in an awesome way.
This makes me smile... and also want to punch my computer. How high are you? I mean in general... all the time?

Reccz:
last batch of listens for a bit... going to be finishing a track afterwards
I like the free flowing nature. Reminds me of a soundtrack to a movie about an alien serial killer. Lots of little details hidden in here.
If I was in high school I would listen to this loudly in my room to piss off my mom... but I am adult and my girlfriend is looking at me and asking if it is 1999. Apparently she thinks you sound like Danzig and Type 0 Negative
I read "power trio" and thought 'fuck... more endless blues rock noodling." I am glad it's not but you really gotta clean up your mix. The bass and drums are all over the place. the vocals are too low and dry. the guitar is lifeless. pull the bass volume down, compression on the drums, guitar volume up and cut the lows while boosting the upper mids (also add very light almost imperceptible phaze or delay to add some depth/ during the distorted bits automate some mid boost on the eq), vocals need the lows rolled off and upper mids peaked and add a little reverb to give some depth. Place a very light compression and reverb over the entire track to help everything gel together. Right now it just sounds so... muddled
you're remembering wrong
tfw nobody would ever buy it if you sold cds/tapes
tfw nobody listens past the first track anymore
tfw every time i try to make music it comes out atonal and boring
El bumpo

reccs:
Recommended you in a different thread, like your stuff. Cool plunderphonics.
Recommended you in a different thread, decent atmospheric shoegaze.
Not bad, like the experimentation on "Unda Maris". Reminds me of Beach House and Tortoise. Some of the tracks on 6 sound like they could be expanded on a little more, but the production is definitely clean and consistent.
Kinda reminds me of the "It Follows" soundtrack. I like the experimentation on Sessions #1, definitely use them for something more serious in the future.
Really nice. Just the right touch of reverb on everything.

I'm taking this as a compliment.
Some great sounds in there. Very synthetic sounding, very industrial. The first song is much more interesting to me than the second. There's much more varitey and motion in the first one, which appeals to me in noise music. The drum machines are a nice touch. Reminds me a little bit of Venetian Snares.
