This is normal.
You arrive as a young newfriend, hoping for a bit of fun and pronz. What you get is frustrations.
You learn that some people are willfully cruel and callous and then, after a while you find that Sup Forums loses its lure.
You post an angry goodbye and piss off for a while.
Then you come back, lurking only, but find yourself pulled in by the urge to correct the uncouth, ignorant masses and once more find yourself hitting a wall of troll and hate.
This triggers another hiatus.
This repeats with regular intervals, until you find that the trollings are juvenile and you can easily ignore them and concentrate on the important topics instead... which will then lead to the horrific discovery that THERE ARE NO IMPORTANT TOPICS!!!
It's all babies and their relationships and copypasta and thinly disguised clamouring for CP/attention/porn/money/games etc.
And then you begin to tease them - you present absurdities as fact. trying to shake them awake by provoking their status quo.
This is when you find that you are now the troll, and the newfriends are the target of your muse.
This will shock and disgust you and you take another hiatus.
Eventually you'll come to realise that nothing really matters, and everything is what you make of it.
Thus the newfriends, the cancers, the autists and everyone else who frequents these boards can no longer rustle your jimmies.
After this you become a casual user, skipping over the repeat threads, hardly even noticing the trolls, finding only the useful posts.
They are rare, but they do exist, and from then on in, you form brief, but pleasant connections with other anons.
At this point you're an oldfriend.
You rarely start threads, unless you actually have something to say or ask.
You're pleasant toward people in general and patient with the flailing, angry, entitled newfriends, who find the place to be evil and...
You get the point.
