To help ease your guys' conscience a bit, most of the people getting arrested are the ones who save and distribute more than just a few photos/videos. It's just a good idea to stop using it from this point on though. Trust me, I highly doubt people that have just seen cp will get vanned. They care more about the ones making it and sharing it. This is just a heads up on the possible future of kik threads.

I think it would have to be one hell of a drug conversation -- and one that they were looking for specifically. I'm guessing, but I think that any drug activity significant enough to catch the eye of law enforcement probably isn't happening on Kik. I wouldn't worry.
