>TFW you realize "Secret Life of Arabia" is better than both of them.

>tfw it dawns on you that Blackout is the best song on the album

>no heroes pic
you ruined the thread, retard.

>tfw you realize Neuköln is the best song on the album

it wasn't really going anywhere m8
you tried though

Forgot pic :^)

>yfw you realize Low is better than Heroes

Nice digits

>yfw you realize Lodger is better than both

>tfw you come to understand that Lodger is better

>TFW the album before this one was slightly better.

Why is Bowie doing that weird pose?

he's gonna FUCKING puke

Why aren't you?

>TFW you realize 90s Bowie is underrated.

making burgers

>we'll never get 2.Inside

>mfw nobody has listened to this album

Joe The Lion is in my opinion the first Pixies song.

"thanks for hes-it-a-ting, this is the kiss off" Total Black Francis

No we listened to it it's just bad.

Sorta like how DJ is basically a Talking Heads track.

wew, that version fucking sucks

>tfw I got meme'd into Death Grips by Bowie

Holy shit, I can't unhear either of these now. It's like when I realized Two States by Pavement was literally just a Fall track that Mark E. Smith never wrote. Like, I expect to hear his voice when that song comes on.

>TFW Reggae Bowie is pretty good

>tfw funk Bowie is pretty good

>soul
>funk

he boutta hit that dab...... BOIIIII HE DID IT

i really dont get it
heroes is obviously the song of the album
the others are very good too but come on
theres nothing bad about the most famous song being the best

...

>tfw Bowie becomes an anime and his eyes will haunt your dreams

Fuck you and your facebook-tier meme

b-but i prefer joe the lion
>that fucking fripp guitar

if you do you do
its just the thing that people downgrade heroes just because its heroes

>tfw Bowie was allegedly considering creating Inside after Blackstar

I don't think Dj is a Talking Heads song at all, it has a generic Bee Gees disco vibe ,the wah wah guitar, strings, bass with weird Enois-isms like that weird suck sound keyboard thing, at :14, :16, and 1:05-1:09.

Does anyone have a clue what that is?

Also the thing that has always bothered me about this song is the off time reverb snare on the left channel. Its annoying as fuck.

shit

>V-2 Schneider

but it sounds like a sitcom theme

You skipped earthling.

>tfw you realize the instrumental tracks are inferior the the rest of the album

I've seen this album cover but Bowie is replaced with Wojak and it's titled "Feels"

someone pls help

That reminds me!
>TFW you realize Bowie made An album and all of the songs on it could pass as sitcom themes.

>tfw when listening to sound and vision for the first time

but sitcom themes are real patrician music.

>tfw you remember this album is Bowie's Magnum Opus

>tfw you remember David Bowie ruined what could have been A 12 album streak.

1984 is so fuckin good

He was adjusting his hair

>fame
>not funk
Not to mention 1984 on Diamond Dogs

>TFW I use the better cover

Where did you find that?

No idea

>listening to 1.Outside for the first time right now
what am I in for, lads?

Dark and skits

>what am I in for, lads?

Great tracks (The Motel, Hearts Filthy Lesson, Small Plot of Land, Hallo Spaceboy, Thru these arctic eyes)

Filler: (All the skits)

One of the BEST songs Bowie has ever made: (Strangers When We Meet)

....And one of his worst: (Wishful Beginnings)

>implying the skits are filler
m-muh concept, muh narrative

When I first listened to Outside, I didn't like Strangers When We Meet but damn has it grown.

9/10 album, industrial art rock

these descriptions all sound like the kind of thing i'd be very much down for

>implying wishful beginnings isn't purposely bad to invite fear leading into we prick you

You'll love it. The skits aren't done as well as they were in the demos, but I personally appreciate them. However, to each their own.

I find it's a good song, it'd be great if it wasn't so long - it works being so eerie and unsettling, but by the second half of it the impact is lost when boredom sets in.

I don't care what the excuse is. Making a song 'purposely bad' still makes it a bad song. And by FAR the worst on the album.

You guys are right looking at it now.
>5 minutes of inception bwaaaah and sorry little girl
>what the hell

youtube.com/watch?v=06wXwgGpO9c

Are these the demos you're talking about?

but there are some albums you can't really take track by track like that
imagine listening to the wall on shuffle and judging every track by its own merit instead of each track in its place in the album

that being said i'm so i've not actually heard the track in question :))))))

The problem with Outside is that it's a tad too long; great songs, but some could be shortened to make the album shorter and sweeter. Wishful Beginnings? cut 5 minutes to 2. Hallo Spaceboy? Barely relevant to the album, cut it out

Yes, there's some great material on these. Mainly, Oxford Town, rather be chrome, something really fishy, the anxiety raps, and of course, the skits that are tired so closely to the music that they circulate the same musical blood

OhYoUgOtMeGoOd

>tfw vicious but ready to learn

>tfw you realize after all is the best song on this album

>tfw I let the letter get me down :(

this

>that face when you realize it's Fripp that really makes the album

>tfw you realize Teenage Wildlife is his best song

>dubs confirm it
