AOTY

>EDM

Yes.

THERE'S A LOOOOOVE EMERGENCY

>trump brings french electro back

best timeline

anyone got a mega link pls?

THESE NIGHTS ARE FULL OF FIRE

FIRE

>Safe and Sound
>Pleasure
>Alakazam!
>Fire

It might be front-loaded with the best songs, but its still a pretty good album.

It was surprisingly good

I agree, though Randy grew on me like crazy.

Close Call was easily the best song on there.

Really good outro.

>house music

If you can't appreciate Cross then you can get right the fuck out

>liking house produced by french faggots

Nah.
It's their best album yet, but that's not saying too much. It's very much that typical Justice sound of stretching their tracks out waayyy too long, trying to flex out muscle that they think they can match from Daft Punk's RAM? Idk man. It's a solid album overall, but pretty much every track feels like it should end, and then you realize you're only halfway through...

Gotta say this, definitely Here's my first impressions from JUST having finished my first listen

>Moenai Hai
>Honour Killed The Samrai
>AE

Well at least mine.

>SaS>Alakazam

I don't know if I can trust you user

Loved Cross, Thought AVD was okay, Woman makes me appreciate AVD even more.

Agh, again - both were overly long. I think before the album dropped, Safe and Sound had me more hooked because of it's idea as an opener...They just don't make enough stuff in each of the could-be-shorter-songs that is as good musically as its core, if that makes sense....
The funky bass and good use of the symphonic element in SaS is just better than the slow-building burn of Alakazam !, and that voyaging synth hook with the rough bass is enjoyable, but not as good a payoff IMO

It'd have been nice if the middle 3 minutes of Chorus didn't just disappear from my subconscious while trying to listen to the album. Randy could have benefitted without that going-nowhere string bit, but I did still really like at least a few tracks overall, so...*shrug*

I gotta say it's better than either of their others, overall - shorter than the even-more-overlong AVD, but longer than Cross (which admittedly only has like 2 & 1/2 tracks I particularly care for - Genesis, The Party, maybe Phantom p2 & the last track?). Each of the songs had a greater amount of enjoyable bits on AVD, but that thing was just waayy too stretched out. Especially when those first few tracks sucked, and the last one being ridiculous, and probably my least favorite track they've done.

Woman seems to balance their two previous ones well.

>liking uffie tracks

i just really hope this album actually gets appreciated

im sick and tired of everyone saying they should make another Cross. daft punk never got this criticism, instead they got their dicks sucked

I agree with you but honestly RAM got some heavy shit thrown at it for a while there, just every single normie and their mother liked Get Lucky

Yeah mate, people thought RAM was too cheesy and didn't have the molly-ready anthems the EDM generation cry for

Magnum opus so far, so in love with stop, for fucks sake.

at first people shitted on RAM until pitchfork gave it a BNM and Melon gave it an 8

Masters of harmony, Magicians, best music i have heard in quite a fucking while.

DONT UPDATE ITUNES

its trash, they were never good

Really enjoyed the album, some tracks definetly are better than others but there's nothing I really dislike. Would say it's about equal with AVD at a 7/10 for me currently. Going to see how it ages though. Pleasure is one of the best Justice tracks yet in my opinion, so fucking incredible.

>Best
Pleasure
>Worst
Randy
>Underrated
Love S.O.S.
>Overrated
Alakhazam !
>Runner-Up
Close Call

>Alakhazam
I have no idea why I typed it like this lel

Way to escort your own opinion to the trash bin

What the fuck am i listening to hello 70's

all me btw

THANK YOU kind user!
Though I did already make that mistake accidentally with automatic updates -- found how to replace it back to the last version IMMEDIATELY.

I legit love that simple fucking feature. That constant white bullshit hurts my eyes, and I don't just wanna switch my screen to negative and look at all-black either.

Fuckin' weird, dude - switch the Best & Worst tracks, and I might agree with you otherwise....

all me

all me btw ;^)

it's not very good at all

It's the best shit I have heard this year, and hell it has been quite a good year

I dunno man, Pleasure is just fucking great imo. Would give a 10/10 to, probably the only song I would give that rating to. It's catchy as hell, but it sounds really smooth and it also in my opinion is probably the most well paced song (doesn't overstay its welcome in the slightest).

Randy has potential, but it is way too long and it also in my opinion just doesn't feel as well executed as the better vocal intensive tracks (especially ones like Pleasure and Stop).

I must agree, entirely.

Well, alright man. My rating was only from first listen, so hopefully that one grows on me a bit. I have had some more time with Randy and the other singles to set in.

seconded

This album sucks, feels bland and boring, especial Alakazam! and Randy.

This band has done nothing good after their first album.

>le epic trolle

since plebs haven't got their cross II, they're complaining like you, i guess you're into edm thrash and stuff like trap and fart sounds

this album, sir, is Music.
Magic music.

Are you some french fagboi that you defend this crap that fiercely? Go eat some refugee dick.

Reminder to ignore anybody obviously baiting and if somebody genuinely dislikes it, it's okay that they have that opinion. If you want to discuss why they don't like it just stop if it becomes obvious they're baiting. If not you will derail the thread.

but it's actually bad

not him but +1 upboat for Making America Great Again

Soundcloud-core. This is their most amateurish sounding album yet.

At least AVD sounded like it came from an actual studio and not a laptop with a pirated copy of FL Studio.

nope, not french at all, but by how you express yourself, i bet you are some redneck "white thrash" kid that is into that "modern" sound and just wants to drunk dance to whatever that sounds catchy and "modern", which is ok for me, i think you should be open for more stuff, real music is out there everywhere, skrillex is not the only one doing music, kid.

Real music is out there everywhere and this crappy album is far from it. Makes me sad because I really enjoyed their first album.

see

Is that your response to all criticism? Are you, by chance, a democrat and hillarry voter?

Going to not follow what I said just so I can establish what I meant by that post.

Criticism =/= Blindly Insulting

It's cool for people to not like something, but if anything you'd resemble a Clinton voter if you just go around blindly insulting things you don't like. I'd actually think discussion of why somebody doesn't like something could be fun or interesting. Listening to people call something "shit", "bad" or throwing around meaningless insults at the album or its listeners is not though. That's why I'd ignore it.

(not the poster) but, hey i haven't read any good criticism so far, like not any good point on what is really wrong with the album which means all the people criticizing is actually baiting

like all they've got is "this is not cross", which is fucking obvious, they grew up, they grew up very well if you ask me, this album is pure fucking magic

Decent album, frontloaded as fuck though. Better than AVD but that's not saying much.

thiiiiis! I really felt like the tracks were unnecessarily long. It would have been a much better album if tracks like Fire and Stop ended earlier

I am a long time justice (even bloghouse era) follower, all i can say this has evolved beautifully, this album demonstrate every aspect of it, i am going to quote some user: "pure fucking magic".

can't help but think all the future funk influenced this album

most neo-disco year so far

>if stop ended earlier
heh

Cross was 11/10 for me but every album since then apart from 1-2 songs has been a disappointment.

Its become to disco influenced and I miss the big sounds and unique feel of cross.

post a fucking mega link please!

stop is the only track on this fucking album that should be LONGER

Does anyone else think SebastiAn is a pretty good replacement to the old Justice style?

"fire" is a stone cold jam and I hope there's some nice remixes.

Wildflower is still AOTY

>he actually rates tracks in itunes

Lol, no. Justice have been around long before future funk was a think.

future funk is what happens when one guy in the vaporwave scene starts making revisionist french filter house and then everyone else starts copying that guy with no awareness of context or history.

My opinion on this album is that they have developed a very specific style which can either embody itself in a genuinely great song or something that is utterly intolerable. By this, I mean that in pretty much every song there is an interesting (and sometimes unpredictable) chord sequence, in combination with some kind of element of fun - whether that be in texture or in rhythm. Tracks like Randy (although I must admit it took me a few days to warm up to it and realise how good it actually is) and Safe and Sound (though I'm not a fan of the side chain white noise percussion substitute) are excellent demonstrations of this formula working well. However, tracks like Love SOS, although employing the same formula, come across as overly self indulgent and frankly embarrassing for a duo capable of creating such good songs across their three albums.

Just an opinion

just search the fucking archive there have been like 100 links posted in the last day
